LGBT Categories[edit]

Please read our policy on biographies of living persons (WP:BLP). In particular, the part about adding categories based on religious belief or sexual identity. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 16:00, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

January 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm Tbhotch. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Udo Kier, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 16:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:BLPCAT carefully. Unless someone has publicly identified their sexual orientation or religious belief, we don't add those types of categories. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 16:40, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

May 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Clint Eastwood may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 10:34, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Lone Ranger (2013 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Reid (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). License tagging for File:Laurence R. Harvey during fan meeting.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Laurence R. Harvey during fan meeting.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Sky Ferreira in The Green Inferno.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Sky Ferreira in The Green Inferno.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:18, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Rape victims[edit]

I have reverted this edit. Please see the headnote to the category: the conditions set out there are the minimum requirements an article must meet, and the facts must be rigorously verified. Especially in the case of a BLP, such as here, scrutiny and care are necessary. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 16:37, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral notice[edit]

This is a neutral notice that an RfC has been opened at an article which you have edited within the past year. It is at Talk:Clint Eastwood#8 children by 6 women. --Tenebrae (talk) 14:18, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Breaking Bad characters[edit]

Please review It seems like you're copy and pasting entire articles from somewhere else (the Breaking Bad wikia?) here and at the wrong titles (e.g. Marie Schrader (Breaking Bad) rather than simply Marie Schrader). Does your source allow for copying? Is it a free license? If you need help with any of this, let me know by posting to my talk. Thanks. —Justin (koavf)TCM 19:27, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilinking[edit]

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

This applies to infoboxes, too.

Thanks, and my best wishes.

You've been editing Wikipedia for more than 2 years, you should be able to add a proper reference, not just the url between ref tags. This just means someone else has to come back and clean-up after you, which should never be the case. I've had to do this four times in the last month on the Twin Peaks article after you've added a reference ([1][2][3][4]). And by looking at your recent edits, it seems you never add proper references. Please learn, it's not hard. Drovethrughosts (talk) 20:09, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
