Hello[edit]

Hi there KFZI310. Just thought I'd say hello as I see we've both been editing the Syrian volcanoes/regions pages. Thanks for putting the Arabic on to Es Safa - I wouldn't have a clue how to! Jasper33 18:46, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Marhaba and Hi again. You're doing a great job, KFZ. I did a little copy edit on your Dirat at Tulul page. I haven't been able to find much info about the region of the Harrat Ash Shamah in Jordan, which is annoying as it's the part I'm most interested in. Never mind. When I do I shall add that to the section. Jasper33 10:03, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd guessed you might live in the Jabal Druze area as I'd had a good look at your contributions! I visited Bosra, As Suwayda, Shahba and Qanawat from Jordan many moons ago (1986 - I was working in the Jordanian basalt area) and had a fantastic time. Lucky you for living there! Help in translation[edit]

Hi, my name is Giorgio. I'm not very active in english Wikipedia because the italian one needs more help. In fact Italy needs help. But I'm strongly partecipating in Commons (in english). Anyway I'm italian, from Florence, and I'm working with other people on a project, in italian Wikipedia, related to my hometown Montevarchi. In Commons we are uploading pictures of the city and its people. So, in Montevarchi lived an admiral that was very significant in history of italian navy. In his personal archive, we digitalize, we found 1 document written in arabic [1]. Could you help us to translate it or do you know somebody that can help us in translating it? Thank you.--Giorgiomonteforti (talk) 22:39, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much--Giorgiomonteforti (talk) 14:19, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fantastic. Thank you so much for your precious help. I'll insert immediately your translation on the description of the picture. And whenever you need me about everything I'm able to do, just ask. In the south of Italy, in order to thank somebody and to pay him respect, they say "baciamo le mani" (we kiss your hands). So do I.--Giorgiomonteforti (talk) 15:49, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
