Your draft[edit]

Hi. I returned your draft to your sandbox. You are supposed to merge your additions into the existing article, not create a duplicate article.

In addition, you need to write in a neutral, encyclopedic tone. Something like Abby Wambach is not only a nationally renown athlete, she is a female activist for other women in athletics is far too promotional for a Wikipedia article.

You should also use inline references instead of (author, date) ones. And I'm not sure why "Global Citizen" is a reliable source - according to their "Who's behind Global Citizen" page, they're a nonprofit, not a news organization or scholarly publication.
