i wanted to add that the term Srinagar ,comes from two words Siri meaning sun in Kashmiri language and nagar meaning city .There is no visible connection with Surya if u consider a linguistic derivation of the term. Its odd that my post has been replaced 2 times even though I am pointing to accurate facts . (1) Your edit was unsourced (2) you inserted a factoid in the middle of another sentence and made pointless name changes [1].
