St Mary's Church, Warrington

Hi! Thanks for the request on my talk page. I do not consider myself to be a reviewer, so what I am about to say is not authoritative. The best advice I can give is to check everything against WP:MOS. Some thoughts are as follows:

• The lead should be a summary of the article, and should contain nothing that is in the body of the article. In this case it should certainly be longer.
• The history section is a collection of short, often unrelated items. It should read as a narrative, with longer paragraphs. It goes without saying that everything must be cited. Check on the relevance and importance of the contents; I am not convinced that a broadcast is worthy of mention.
• Ordination does not merit a separate section
• Images: there are too many, and I do not feel that a gallery is merited. The link to Commons should be sufficient - see WP:IUP
• I am not convinced that a table of the parish priests is merited.
• Sacred music. The first para reads like "puffery" and is uncited. See WP:Peacock

Sorry if this seems a bit critical but the church and its activities are worthy of an article, but it is advisable that the guidance of the MoS (not me) be followed. Best wishes and good luck. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 12:47, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
