Alexiad[edit]

Hello Knobri3,

Welcome and thank you for your recent contributions in wikipedia. I largely restored the article of the Alexiad to its older versions because the recent edits disrupted its structure and some might not have met the standards of wikipedia articles. That means that some of the additions were either a bit repetitive, or a bit too general to be relevant for the Alexiad. For example, the definition of historiography or the women in the Byzantine empire are broad subjects with their own articles, so they wouldn't need a separate section in this one. Some of the historical content could in fact be helpful, but it would need to be writen in a bit more encyclopedic language, with more and better correspondence to sources (otherwise comments can be seen as original research), and avoiding general content that might not be too relevant in this context (for example, East and West relations). The sources that you used were of good quality. Overall, do not get disheartened by the rv and my comments; I'm wrting this so that you'll know that my rv, like your edits, was in good faith and so that you'll learn a few more things about how wikipedia works.
