About "biobank" (translation into Spanish)

Back on 10 May 2008 (yeah, I know, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away and a million edits ago :) you removed the pd-self from these two images. Hi katie, I think the article on "Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj" should be made available on wikipedia again. He is a well known spiritual leader of the World and one of the original Jagatguru's. He has been awarded this accredition by Kashi Widwat parishat, which controls these kind of decisions.

SWU - Quick Delete
Hi Katie,
A few years ago you deleted a page on SWU (System Wide Upgrades) - at the time when it was deleted, I think (from what I can gather about this 'milerunner' community) you were right to remove it, SWU is 'jargon' used in, what was then, a small community of people who fly purely for the purpose of gaining airmiles and elite status with various airlines. I beg you to reconsider your delete of the page; the reason being is that some time ago (sorry, for taking so long to contact you) I was researching these interesting folk called Mile-runners for a project, and I found their community to be vast. On closer inspection, I realised that they use terminology (SWU, for example) which are very common in commercial aviation, sooooo... I think that it would be important for Wikipedia to feature some form of reference to this acronym, as it is becoming more and more popular, particularly since the recent Jason Reitman movie 'Up In The Air' (2009) which centres on the activities of a certain Mile Runner.

Jagad guru kripalu maharaj page deletion
The discussion for deletion is primarily made by people who have no idea of how religious following or religious scriptures of India are. There are so amny articles on simple followers/ message spreaders of ISCKON, primarily because it is more popular in USA. Mr. WIKIdas seems to be interested in it. I see no other sect getting any article from him. It seems biased! Other pages of Hindu mythology made by him are about Hindu Gods of historical personalities. It does not seem right. Please remove this bias otherwise history and religion will become one-sided. I am not his fan or follower.I know people who are his followers. He quotes Indian scriptures, and a lot of them, without looking at them and providing explanation. A large population in his area look to him for spiritual message. What else is required of a person to be of importance? He is providing spiritual besides financial/educational and medical benefit to the population around.
There are so many temples built by his followers. I am sure it provides great value to them and the person becomes valuable. Only because some persons, who have time to make statements on wiki deletion discussion,state something, the article should not be deleted. Otherwise WIKI will have strong developed world skew. A large number of his followers have separate places to spread his message. Is it all fake or waste?

As compared to this I see only ISCKON related links on many pages. ( for example, "Prabodhananda Sarasvati" page) I think it is a motivated effort to block other view points on a religion. Krishna is the source for Kripalu maharaj as well as ISCKON. But Isckon gets many many entries only because it more popular in west and consequently has more resources. Someone said that kripalu maharaj has many names which are not authenticated... it it really a criteria... unless he is a criminal.... which he is not. Are they confusing him with kripalu yoga of USA. Then the confusion is understandable... but it shows TOTAL lack of seriousness. His name is Ram kripalu tripathi. His life story is available online. Rajneesh movement is almost dead now but WIKI has a page on him. Does one becomes acceptable only if he is linked to USA? Even though he had spiritual writings but his wealthy and controversial lifestyle is still acceptable. I guess then , popularity by any means is more important than real spirituality. Check facebook groups of Kripaluji and so-called Isckon people on wiki. Deletion is not justified. Let it be there. people may leave a note... or permanent note by WIKI, if needed. Well I end this discussion now.

Jule Huffman
Hello;
On 05:01, 13 June 2007 KrakatoaKatie (talk | contribs) deleted "Jule Huffman" (Expired PROD, concern was: Local TV guy that, while well known in Huntington, doesn't meet WP:BIO)
I would like to respectfully submit that Jule Huffman be reinstated in the Wikipedia. He worked for WSAZ for over 40 years and while he may have been a "Local Celebrity", from 1969 until 1995, He was a pioneer of early children's television. For over 25 years, Mr. Cartoon entertained thousands upon thousands of children across 3 states. Jule was the voice of "Merlin the Sea Monster" on the show "Steamboat Bill" that aired in the 1950's. This type of programming no longer exists in our culture and, therefore, in my humble opinion, feel that it is an iconic treasure of Televisions past that should not be lost. Just as Bozo, Howdy Doody or Fibber McGee and Molly and many others, it is something that will never return and should continued to be remembered.
