Welcome, but... I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article SharpInstall, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:SharpInstall. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. The article Joe Mele has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Has only done bit parts such as "head trauma victim ", "man with hairlip" and "bar patron". Fails WP:NACTOR. Unable to find any reliable, independent sources that are about him.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Joe Mele for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Joe Mele is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joe Mele (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Bgwhite (talk) 06:15, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know... IMDb is considered an unreliable reference as anybody can edit it. This is the same reason why Wikipedia cannot be used as a reference. An IMDb link is allowed in external links. Bgwhite (talk) 06:20, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IMDb is not edited at all. You apply to ask the editors to add/change or delete material. The films production company has control over who is listed as well. They can remove people if need be. 11:26, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Whether it is edited or not, and it is widely believed here that it is not IMDb that supplies the info, it is in the group of sources regarded as only suitable for External Links. That's better than YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, though. IMDb is a useful link (unlike the three I just mentioned), but it isn't normally accepted for notability. Not all info on IMDb comes from the subjects or agents - Adolf Hitler's page must come from someone else. (Yes, he's on there.) Peridon (talk) 17:35, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
