Victoria Stadium = Telstra Dome[edit]

You deleted Victoria stadium as a former name of Telstra Dome. I am fascinated why you did that when at least 155 pages come up on google referencing that name. Here are a couple - 1 2 3 4 Hack 06:50, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough Luke[edit]

I understand what you want to do about the Dancing withthe Stars page, Luke. I'm glad that you want to have all the lists become tables. I was just trying to balance out the page. It's happened to me before on some pages for British reality shows. It's all too confusing. Hope you remember all the dates though.

One comment, in passing however, that really ticked me off, was the reactions to my changes were very rude. You know that you are not the editor and Wikipedia is a free site which anyone can edit. I would appreciated if you wrote your comments in a more courteous manner rather than "What the heck happened to the Tables for series 5. I changed them back. TABLES ARE BETTER. DO NOT CHANGE THE BACK" I thought that was rather rude. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.52.24.237 (talk) 22:00, 4 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

WikiProject Australian television[edit]

Hey Lakeyboy, WikiProject Australian television is a newly active project which aims to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Australian telvision by creating, expanding, and maintaining such articles, and to serve as the central point of discussion for issues related to Australian telvision in Wikipedia. If you would like to join please add your name to the list and add {{User WP AUSTV}} to your user page. Thanks. Stickeylabel 08:40, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Rich List[edit]

The Rich List is filmed at Central City Studios, I have been an audience member and that is where it is done. 1 vs 100 is also done there but in another studio. The reason is, as explained to us at the show, that there is no more room at South Melbourne because they are full with Deal or No Deal, Australia's Got Talent, and others... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.164.155.11 (talk) 04:32, 9 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

AFL Teams Template[edit]

Hi,

I have reverted your edit to the AFL Team Template where you changed "Kangaroos" to "North Melbourne" and removed "Lions" from "Brisbane Lions". The reasons I have done this is because the trading names of those clubs were correct before the change. The Roos don't play under the banner of North Melbourne, they play under Kangaroos. A discusion was held on this topic recently to avoid edit-wars. For the full discussion, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Australian_Football_League/Archive_1#North_Melbourne_-_Kangaroos.

As for Brisbane, the reason they are officially known as "Brisbane Lions" is to recognise the old Fitzroy part of the merger. Both of these names (Kangaroos and Brisbane Lions) are used on official fixtures and on TV broadcasts, etc. They are abbreviated to KANG and BL... not NM and BRIS.

Please don't edit them again, as discussions have been held and a consensus reached.

BTW, your work on the MetLink system is great. Infact, just tonight I have used your pages greatly in assisting me in working my way to the Bulldogs-Adelaide game at the MCG tomorrow!

Contestants in 1 vs. 100[edit]

Hi, I was wondering how you were able to write the contestants' names in that game show. They never display their names on screen and I have no idea how they could be spelt, or how you were able to get those names. What info did you use for that?! RaNdOm26 11:02, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some of them I just make out to the best of my ability, but I found the last three contestants names on the Channel Nine 1 vs. 100 site. It's a shame they don't display their names like on The Rich List. --Lakeyboy 12:22, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:ARIA Charts song position[edit]

Got them from Nova. They have a show that announces all the Top 40 singles, plus some of the high charting albums/club songs, and they announce them a few hours before the ARIA website updates them. RaNdOm26 10:57, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Tilley Article[edit]

I noticed that you take a particular interest in this page, so I thought you would be interested to know, or should be informed that, most of the links on the page were dead and thus much of the page had to be removed as it was potentially libelous. There were also numerous POV violations which you may or may not have been aware of.

Regards --VicLib12 05:01, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop trying to pretend your a different person from what you were? How did you spend the six months that you were banned for? That was bliss but now you're back buggering up everything again. For goodness sake, it's just an article. Drop the matter. Tell me what it is with you and Matt Tilley? Do you know him personally or something. You wouldn't be doing the same thing to another article which covers a topic or person you like now would you? --Lakeyboy 15:19, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea what you or Dan027 are talking about with regards to the Matt Tilley Article. I will not do any more edits - for now - in order to show good faith. Please examine the article yourself and remove the numerous dead links. They all lead to Page Not Found URLs.
In good faith, --VicLib12 23:34, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for that. I will take a look at the article in the short term and try to bring it up to speed the best I can. --Lakeyboy 08:26, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:The_Chronicles_of_Life_and_Death.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:29, 1 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 08:29, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Spicks_and_Specks_Logo.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Spicks_and_Specks_Logo.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Sebi ~ 08:58, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:KFCnewlogo2.png[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:KFCnewlogo2.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Safari 3.0 Windows Beta.png[edit]

Thank you for adding a fair use rationale to Image:Safari 3.0 Windows Beta.png. The purpose of use description does not explain what the purpose of the image is in the article about the Safari web browser (why is this screenshot significant for the article, what does it explain that only words cannot). I believe this purpose of use description is the most important part of a rationale. Could you add the necessary info? Cragieburn[edit]

IIRC, platform one is the Melbourne bound platform, while platform 2 is the turnback/country bound platform.

IIRC, the xover between up and down is at the Melbourne end of platform 2, not at the country end.

IIRC, there is only one siding, though the siding is at least 2 trains long.

Could you please fill in the incomplete route numbers and copy it onto their relevant pages: State Route 1 to 200 (blue shield) Alphanumeric State Route C101 to C806 (green logo with yellow text) Also in addition replace C780 with M780 and A780 and create M2 and M7 for Melbourne's freeways.

Alternatively you can tell me how to create it myself, and how to upload it without further violation (as you may know before).

Thank you

--Rom rulz424 22:05, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry but I currently do not have the time to create the missing route numbers even though I would if I had the time but I am quite busy in real life at the moment.
You can make them yourself by using MS Paint or Photoshop by copying an existing route marker from Wikipedia and paste it into the image editing program, then use the Roadgeek set of fonts which can be downloaded by clicking here to write the route numbers then upload it under a created by self and no usage restrictions licence like I did with the M3 marker.
And also, for the moment, please don't change the Eastern Freeway to M3 yet. Even though it will most certainly be changed from 83 to M3, until they change the signs over on the freeway itself, leave it 83. This also applies for M2 and M7 as well. The actual road signs need to display the route number for the route number to get changed in Wikipedia. EastLink will be signed M3 because I have personally checked the new signage they are installing along the freeway and at the exits which display M3 on them hence the change to the EastLink page. --Lakeyboy 22:17, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't mind could you please tell me the exact font you used to create the M3 route marker and the colour scheme on Ability Photopaint. Thanks. --Rom rulz424 08:13, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't use Ability Photopaint so I can't tell you what to use. I just used MS Paint and used the Roadgeek Series C font for the route numbers. Use the eyedropper in a image editing program to find out the colours. --Lakeyboy 10:54, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Melway Edition 34 Cover.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Melway Edition 34 Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Just to let you know I've requested a peer review for Big Brother Australia 2007 with the intention to help get it up to GA. :) Seaserpent85Talk 14:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reporting the problem to WP:RFPP, and for finding references for the information that I removed. I assumed that the controversy section could be sourced, from what your report described, but needed to roll back to a conservative version until someone did source it, per the BLP policy. Thanks for the quick follow-up in that respect. — TKD::Talk 13:19, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That would be great. The Kananook works should be finished by now except maybe for the sound wall along the freeway. I know that Heatherdale is 100% complete except for the new carpark on Maroondah Highway. --Lakeyboy 02:13, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

is v was on The Hey Hey It's Saturday Article[edit]

Hey Luke, I'm glad someone agreed with me about the change I complained about on the Hey Hey talk page. I wasn't 100% sure which is why I put it up for discussion rather than change it myself. Cheers, Rick69p 02:10, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't look at the talk page but when I checked the history to see past changes, I remembered reading wikipedia guidelines on this issue and saw many other articles being converted from past tense to present tense due to their status as a work of fiction. I agree with this for fiction only. Shows like Hey Hey are not fictional hence it comes under "was". Just like a person dying. --Lakeyboy 02:18, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am just wondering why you recreated the deleted template Template:Succession box one to five? The template was deleted because it is inflexible, unnecessary, and rarely used. The current template system found at Template:s-start is more than adequate to create a proper template with the same design as you were seeking. If you have any questions, contact Wikipedia:WikiProject Succession Box Standardization or myself.
Darius von Whaleyland, Great Khan of the Barbarian Horde 16:44, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I recreated it because it can still be used with the existing succession box system that is easy to use. This new S-Start system is to sum it up in one word "confusing". Unless someone can post up a detailed tutorial on how to use the new system, I want to stick with the original system. --Lakeyboy 03:28, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:The Twelfth Man - Wired World of Sports.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The Twelfth Man - Wired World of Sports.png.

Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:07, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Photo Finish (Prison Break episode), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Photo Finish/Vamonos. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 02:29, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

X[edit]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to X (Kylie Minogue album). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. - eo (talk) 22:57, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reference added. --Lakeyboy (talk) 23:03, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you!! btw, I re-redirected the article for the single - please add the ref there too when you revert! - eo (talk) 23:07, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My style of editing involves adding the information then adding the references, to avoid possible edit conflicts. I kept reverting it because I did have the proof that it is the second single. I will now place the same refernces in the new article. --Lakeyboy (talk) 23:11, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem... I actually first responded on the X talk page.... Ive already redirected articles for "Wow" and "Heart Beat Rock"... plus "Speakerphone" and "The One" have been linked as potential singles too... so I'm apprehensive when I don't see the source. Thanks again. - eo (talk) 23:23, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
