DRV[edit]

I happened to notice that you have created DRV requests for Paddy Coupar and James Nixon. I think you may be taking red links and lots of incoming links as evidence that an article once existed. This is not the case. Simply go ahead and create articles about them. As to Lee Sanderson, here you do see a deletion log report. However, the deletion was non-controversial as you can see from the entire text (!) in User:Lando09/sandbox. Again, just go ahead and create an article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 08:48, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Lee Sanderson he is a former professional rugby league player, shown here http://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/players/Lee_Sanderson/summary.html as playing first grade football in the top league in the northern hemisphere, the Super League.Lando09 (talk) 09:51, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Were the article to be restored, would the history also be restored so to look through and see if there were anything of substance in previous edits, and so to create a more rounded article, and also maintaining the original categories, so not to miss any out.Lando09 (talk) 10:09, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strange idea: archiving and then continuing a discusssion thread! Please see User:Lando09/sandbox and its history. I assure you that that is all we have ever had on the Lee Sanderson title. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:28, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading titles[edit]

From your name, your interests and your canvassing, it seems obvious that you are a sock puppet of Londo06 (talk · contribs · logs). You therefore know that User:Londo06/Rugby League Articles created 6 and the similar lists have misleading titles: most of these articles have not yet been created. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:41, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • You've lost me on the message left on my talk page, I don't understand the misleading titles.Lando09 (talk) 09:47, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The titles say "articles created" but many of the names listed are all red links and in the vast majority of these cases articles have never existed. For example: it appears to claim that an article has been created about Steve Crooks but no such article has ever existed. Surely that was obvious from my first message. Do you understand now? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:28, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Captions[edit]

Please do not remove legitimate captions from graphics as you have done at numerous articles such as Brett Hodgson and Willie Manu. We have gone over this several times and you have not provided a reasonable basis for the removal of captions. The captions provide information about the graphic. Continued removal could be seen as vandalism.  florrie  23:24, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can only guess, but I would think the background to that particular edit can be found here, here and here.  florrie  07:06, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you. Now I would like to see Lando09's explanation. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:07, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Re caption; I was informed that one could not add such a detail, it was either available without restrictions or not at all. Lando09 (talk) 11:52, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • As you say, images are "available without restrictions". So by your own admission, these edits are vandalism. I have blocked you briefly. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:47, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Captions (again)[edit]

Hello. I see you've been asked about captions before, but I was wondering why you removed the caption from Fabian Delph's infobox image. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:17, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Surely the caption just indicates that the strip Delph is wearing in the pic is that of Leeds? so is helpful to the reader, who may well not recognise it. Another time, perhaps you could fill in the edit summary, and not mark the edit as minor. Thanks, Struway2 (talk) 12:48, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rohan Smith (rugby league)[edit]

Thanks for this article - could you please add references, however? Ironholds (talk) 19:02, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
