Good catch on that bogus original research. It's fair to say that US Protestants don't make quite as big a thing of Holy Week, but many institutions, including secular ones (such as the company I work for) have Good Friday as a holiday. It's not a legal holiday, probably because it's strictly a Christian holiday (as is Christmas, except the Supreme Court has ruled that it is a "folk holiday", hence the federal holiday is fine.) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 13:02, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Parkrun[edit]
Why did you revert back to Andrew BADDELEY as the record time with 13:48 in 2012? According to the UK site, Mark TELFORD had a 13.14 time in 2014 and Danny SIDBURY a 12.12 time in 2016 [Parkrun record page] regards Ânes-pur-sàng - À la perchoine 21:03, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- I did this because those times were in the Wheelchair category, and Danny SIDBURY's time would be faster than the current world record on the track for a running 5000m (5k). Also on the parkrun front page (www.parkrun.org.uk) they show the running times of Andy Baddeley as the record. I added separate category records for wheelchair as those records are notable, but should not be confused in the picture being painted of a "running" record. Larkim (talk) 14:31, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
