If you are really the copyright holder, then I'm glad that this is not a image copyright violation. Anyway, the watermark that the image has is depreciated, so please remove it. Have a good work! --Sdrtirs (talk) 22:57, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You may release it in Creative Commons Attribution using {{cc-by-3.0}} and, like you have the ownership, may use the template {{self}} like this {{self|cc-by-3.0}}. See more on Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. --Sdrtirs (talk) 17:50, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The digital watermark is the information about the copyright and/or credits on the image. See Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#User-created_images for more information. --Sdrtirs (talk) 18:05, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Watermarking as promotional spam[edit]

Hi,whilst some of your pictures are outsatnding (eg Image:Edsim clitoral glans innervation.jpg), I think your recent additions are problematic for having such promotional watermarks. I see nothing wrong in an image page having further details as to the source of the images (accepting that you have already appropriatley indicated the self-created copyright issue). I wonder if you would be willing to reupload the images without the watermark? To find out the views of others, I've nominated as a test case Image:DH thymus.jpg - see Wikipedia:Images_and_media_for_deletion#May_29, further links given by the standard notice I've posted below :-) David Ruben Talk 03:47, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, many thanks from so swiftly removing watermarks and reuploading. re DH thymus image, I've withdrawn IfD proposal and reinserted (although perhaps better location) into thymus article. David Ruben Talk 23:13, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please, could you upload this image to Commons, so we can use it in each and every version of Wikipedia? Thanks. 80.58.247.136 (talk) 07:14, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
