August 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Leh. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. DanielRigal (talk) 11:49, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Leh district.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. DanielRigal (talk) 12:26, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What Disruption. I have added what ten sources are saying. I will go to admin if you threatened me again.

You have not been threatened. You have been warned. That is not the same thing. You can't continue to use Wikipedia as your own personal soapbox. Adding references to bad content does not make it good. --DanielRigal (talk) 12:32, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re: your threat to call an admin if you don't get your own way[edit]

You are very welcome to call an admin to look into this if you really want to. I don't recommend it. There is such thing as a WP:Boomerang which might come back on you but if you are sure that you have done nothing wrong then please feel free to give it a try. --DanielRigal (talk) 12:29, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

And, FYI, at least one of the people removing the material is an admin. --Dirk Beetstra T C 12:30, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Then I will be calm and wait as per WP:Boomerang. Then I will contest my edit with any other neutral admin who will play a judge between us.

August 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Kargil. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 12:31, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
