November 2011[edit]

Hello! I'm a bot created by another Wikipedia editor. I wanted to let you know that I removed a link that you recently added to the page Movimento plano crew here. I did this because http://hiphopessencia.blogspot.com/2010/05/do-grafite-ao-rap-talento-e.html" is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. We usually avoid linking to blogs, forums, and social media sites.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Thank you! --XLinkBot (talk) 16:29, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A cup of tea for you![edit]

Hi, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I'll give you a bit of time to sort out the problems

  • You need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that you meet the notability guidelines. Note that self-created sources such as Facebook, Imdb and wikipedia articles are not acceptable as references. Proper coverage by the press etc is good
  • Your article was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Lots of peacock terms without in-line references to support them — focused deeply...All of the group's talents are used and recognized....respected values... — generally self-promtionrather than description
  • Our goal is to transform as well as inspire the Brazilian society to realize its' many unfulfilled dreams... — first person spam
  • Movimento Plano Crew possesses many sources which are reliable for the statements made above. — so add them

It's not the facts which are the main issue, but the lack of demonstrated notability and tone.ou have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your group is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage of the centre in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could alternatively post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 17:53, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have some concerns about the image. The uploader, Pianocrew, is apparently different from the creator, Emtee, and therefore does not own the copyright. Note that if the image was created by someone else, you cannot release it on their behalf. If you do own the copyright, I would also check, if you have a record company deal or a manager, that they are happy for you to release the image for anyone to use, including for commercial purposes. Well Mr. Bleak here we are again trying to get this page up and in the correct matter we will post 10 sources since you requested them. Then help us place it in the correct music category.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:40, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The image is clearly not the copyright of the uploader, and cannot be used as a free image unless you do the following. If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article's talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.

The article is still unsatisfactory, and I note that an orphan tag has been removed. I'll move it here for you to work on since it is still too spammy and unreferenced for article space. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:23, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As you know, I didn't delete, I moved it to your sandbox for you to work on. Please don't recreate in article space until the problems are sorted. The category or categories are up to you really, the main thing is to have something, but if there is a choice, make it more specific (international, rather than just hip hop Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:12, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. It looks like you've got your Wiki syntax a bit muddled – you (accidentally, I presume) created a new article (when the article namespace is solely for encyclopedic articles, not for internal procedural matters); I presume you wanted WP:Deletion review. Alternatively, if you are looking for help from other editors on creating articles that won't get deleted, you might want to have a look at Wikipedia:Articles for creation.
