Speedy deletion of Bobby Light[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bobby Light requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. AfD nomination of Murdered Out[edit]

I have nominated Murdered Out, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Murdered Out. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? --  Darth Mike  (Talk Contribs) 20:13, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Murdered Out[edit]

If it passes AFD, then I'll add the album art for you. --  Darth Mike  (Talk Contribs) 21:05, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You should present your arguments for keeping the article here. I'm unsure what an unofficial album even is. All that video proves is that someone somewhere made a video of a song. You still have to prove notability through reliable sources. --  Darth Mike  (Talk Contribs) 01:31, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:Mac-Dre-Thizz-In-Peace.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unspecified source/license for Image:LilFlipMrCapone-E-StillConnected.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:LilFlipMrCapone-E-StillConnected.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Copyright problem: Peugeot Flux[edit]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Peugeot Flux. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. • Gene93k (talk) 07:00, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The text you contributed to the article was copied and pasted from http://www.diseno-art.com/encyclopedia/concept_cars/peugeot_flux.html and was therefore a copyright violation. The infringing text has been removed. • Gene93k (talk) 07:00, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Rice burner has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. IHG (talk) 00:28, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Rice burner constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 00:35, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rice burner, as well as Ricer and Rice Rocket is a term for a Japanese sports car or sport bike. Contrary to popular belief, ricers are not modified vehicles. The correct terminology in this case would be 'Tuner'.

This is not vandalism. This is correcting.

And please, stop this shit about using the fvcking sandbox for testing. I know how to edit. ForceFedR34 00:38, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Please note that edits to discussion and talk pages should be made with a proper and accurate signature. [1] Creating your own signature, under someone else's name (even if it doesn't exist yet), could cause validity and respectability issues with other editors. This can be done automatically by adding four tildes (~) at the end of your comment. You can test this feature out in the sandbox. Rurik (talk) 02:27, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Info[edit]

Adding the personal address of a celebrity to a talkpage is not appropriate. People are entitled to their privacy, and their private address should not be disclosed unless it is well known (such as the address of the white house). Please do not disclose personal information again, and if you have posted any other addresses of celebrities, please tell me so that I can request oversight of them.--Terrillja talk 04:34, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers[edit]

Hi Liaden Graham,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
