List of Simpsons Quotes has been proposed for deletion. Please review WP:NOT for general guidelines and improve the article if possible. NickelShoe 17:48, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. You didn't mention what article you were talking about, so I'm guess it's the one above? I didn't actually propose the article for deletion. Rather, I saw that it had been nominated, and thought you'd like to know.
It's no longer up for deletion, because someone thought it had a chance. But the reasoning wasn't that it was short. The prodder said "Wikiquote material"--meaning this was less an encyclopedia article than a list of quotes. You might, for instance, write an introduction for the material. (For pointers, see WP:GTL).
Does that help? NickelShoe (Talk) 02:29, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if it's WikiQuote fodder, then I guess I'm gonna get a WikiQuote account! ^-^--66.82.9.23 21:42, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Without a Fight, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
