Re - rugby league stubs

"Cooks-" is used for all other Cook Islands stubs, so it should be for this one, too. I agree that in general parlance it's not used as an abbreviation for the Cook Islands, but it is used for stub templates (to keep it the same as templates for other "Foo Islands" countries). Seems like you misunderstood about upmerging the new templates! In stub terms, upmerging means to feed the template into already existing parent categories (e.g., {{Samoa-rugbyleague-bio-stub}} should have put articles into Category:Oceanian sportspeople stubs, Category:Samoan people stubs and Category:Rugby league biography stubs) - it doesn't mean creating new categories with a larger scope (most people leave making the templates and categories to more experienced stub-sorters to avoid this sort of problem). Munster Rugby Squad template

Hi, I notice that you removed this template from Ronan O'Gara, presumably because there were two similiar templates. But did you merge the two duplicate templates, fixing the links that are incorrect in one, but correct in the other and updating all other pages that link to the incorrect template. Or at a minimum put a notice in each template pointing to the other. I added the duplicate template to O'Gara when I became aware of it so that someone would see it and deal with all that correctly because I didn't have time to do so. If you don't have time, perhaps you could revert your change for someone else to deal with completely --Rye1967 (talk) 10:42, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
