Conflict of interest[edit]

From your username(s) it seems likely you have a WP:COI in relation to the subject of Behavioral optometry which you have edited. Please be aware of our WP:COI guidance and the terms of use you have agreed to as set out in the relevant parts of WP:PAID. Thanks, Alexbrn (talk) 15:05, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How so Alex? It seems like the only way to add information about a subject is if you don't know anything about it, which hardly seems like a solid way to go about it. I suspect you have no idea if I have a COI. I do not practice Behavioural Optometry. I am not an optometrist or any sort of health professional. [1]. It happens that I do know a bit about this subject. I am not even interested in editing the article that much. I am happy to provide you with some secondary studies that contradict Barretts now dated position. This is the third time I have offered and have yet to be accepted. Do you have a COI? I shall have a look!Loomis Ideology (talk) 06:25, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

References

As you know, your old account was a company name and a company of that name on the web lists optometry as one of its areas of activity, and lists BO associations as clients. So, I am relieved to read here that you have no COI. As to me, I have no COI with regard to optometry (behavioral or not). If you can provide a pointer to some good secondary sources on the BO article's Talk page, that would be great. Alexbrn (talk) 06:35, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
