Speedy deletion of Nutty Nuggets[edit]

A tag has been placed on Nutty Nuggets, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. kelapstick (talk) 21:30, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nutty Nuggets[edit]

Hi, before you get to far into the article I suggest that you find some reliable sources to establish the notability of the product in question. I seriously see this article being put up for deletion, since I don't think there is anything particularly notable about it that can not be found in the article on Store brand.--kelapstick (talk) 21:55, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We can delete the page if that's what the right thing to do is... Can we just set up a redirect to "Store Brand" for "Nutty Nuggets" if you do choose to delete it? Thanks! DUNGO (talk) 22:27, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to move the article you created to the parent company's name (Ralpro or something) and include it there. A redirect will be left. I hope that's okay. Please let me know if you have any questions or there's anything I can help with. ChildofMidnight (talk) 01:38, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's a great idea! Thanks a lot!!! Should I edit this talk page to get rid of the "speedy deletion" note, and edit the talk page for Ralcorp to get rid of all of our chatter about not deleting it? Or do we just leave all that stuff? Can't find any for-sure word in the guidelines. Thanks to both of you for all of your help! mainadungo 23:07, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

The article "It's Better in the Wind" Soundtrack has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
