I noticed that you asked for some help when editing Penutian languages. Comments, queries and discussions about the contents of article should be placed in that article's talk page, in this case Talk:Penutian languages. More generally, if you want to edit "in private" so to speak, you can create a sandbox in your user area. You can freely create and edit new content in such a sandbox before copying it across to the main Wikipedia article space when you have finished.
