- the definition of "San Francisco values" comes from only one source and while it is an appropriate one to use, there should be more sources cited to give the reader a broader understanding of the phrase. The article also attempts do compare "west coast liberalism" and "east coast liberalism" but fails to provide enough credible sources to do so. The comparison lacks specific reasons as to why there is a difference and just simple states that there is one. In addition to credible sources, specific reasons must be addressed in order to add any value to comparing the two on this page. It may be best just to focus solely on the phrase instead of comparing east v. west coast liberalism to avoid confusing the various values of San Francisco with the mainstream assumption of everyone being a liberal.
