DU[edit]

Please see the talk page of DU for the removal vs keeping of notable alumni. Don't revert without discussion. Jrssr5 16:03, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that the colors are off, but what is already on the article should be left until the upload is complete, without the image, the article looks bad. When the new image with the correct colors is uploaded and defended properly, then feel free to change to it, but without a file to direct to, it looks as if you are trying to vandalize. Also, you might want to mention your intentions in the discussion! DUKyleXY (talk) 21:02, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DU Pages--and future IHQ involvement[edit]

Hey, I have been working on updating and reformatting the Chapters and Notable Members lists to get them closer to FL status. Today I was looking for information to supplement my 2001 version of the Cornerstone, so I contacted IHQ. I received an extremely quick brush off from the new Communications Consultant. He mentioned that this summer the fraternity is planning to launch an entire new image, therefore he did not want to give me the information I requested (Chapter Names, Schools, Founding Dates, and Active/Inactive Status for chapters founded after Northwestern State in 2001). I believe that he thinks that IHQ can dictate the information that is on Wikipedia, and that they are wanting to launch a new Wikipedia DU brand along with the other branding areas as well. I tried to inform him that IHQ will not necessarily be able to control the contents of the DU presence on WP, but he seemed insistent that they would "launch" the information consistently this summer.

Have you heard about any plans for IHQ to take over the fraternity's Wikipedia presence?
