Edits to Line 3, Guangzhou Metro[edit]

Dear Mean as custard, I received a message saying you had removed my edit to Line 3, Guangzhou Metro because it appeared to be promotional. The content which I added to that page was the signalling solution that was implemented on the line. I believe this information enriches the article as it gives more information about how the signalling system of the train works and I don't think I put it in a way that was promotional. Could you please let me know why you deleted it and if there is a way to rephrase it to avoid any misunderstandings? Kind regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by JCorlett42 (talkcontribs) 13:32, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@JCorlett42: I sent you the first message on your talk page (about the article Line 3, Guangzhou Metro) because all your edits so far appear to be about adding information about the projects of Thales Group. Editing about things you have a conflict of interest on is discouraged; if you are affiliated with them in any way, it is best for you to disclose that on your user page and avoid writing about them altogether. Ah ok thanks, it was because I was doing research on Thales projects and I thought it would be helpful to put more details about the systems that had been used in various projects on wikipedia. I have not phrased anything in a promotional manner, but I will refrain from publishing anything else on the subject if you think that it is inappropriate. Edit to Aroma Lamps Page[edit]

Hi, I added two more companies which make aroma lamps @ Aroma lamps wiki page. Now I am checking you have deleted the edits. May I know the reason, where did I go wrong ? vivek.bekhabar (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 11:33, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I felt the additions did not improve the article, and suspect you have a conflict of interest in adding the names. . . Mean as custard (talk) 11:55, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Well I don't have any conflict of interest...I am just researching on this topic these days...so editing in these areas recently...I feel there is very less knowledge about aroma industry on Wikipedia...so I am just collating the things together...I hope I am doing justice...as I get more details will improve the related articles. Reply, if you have any doubts! Thanks vivek.bekhabar (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 13:08, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Signature School[edit]

Updated the page so its tone is more encyclopedic. I'd appreciate your checking it over and noting if there's anything I can do to make it more neutral. I think having a Wiki entry for the school is worthwhile (and indeed--it had one, albeit a somewhat out-of-date entry, for a long while before it mysteriously disappeared over the last few months).

Let me know if there's anything I can do to improve its contents. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesahitchcock (talkcontribs) 18:28, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the prose to a more objective format. Would appreciate if you could highlight the areas which need further improvement rather than undoing the entire bit. Kindly note that the earlier info was INCORRECT/OUTDATED. PSO does not operate worldwide as given earlier, neither is it 3rd on the stock exchange etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HasanPSO (talkcontribs) 04:24, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mean, please understand that the info to which you keep reverting the page is incorrect. If you like you can visit the official company page and compare. Other than that, what part of the page is promotional? Please clarify? These are actual performance results and activities. If there is a specific term/ section to which you have concerns, highlight that? HasanPSO (talk) 11:46, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your changes are clearly intended to be promotional, particularly phrases like "Committed to providing quality products to its customers"; "duly equipped with computerized and state-of-the-art petroleum testing equipment to ensure the presence of superior quality products"; "As a responsible corporate citizen, PSO is committed to fulfilling its responsibility towards society"; . . . Mean as custard (talk) 14:40, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mean, thank you for the clarification, I'm making changes in the given terms to ensure that the text/content falls within accepted parameters. Would appreciate if you can give it a second go-over. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HasanPSO (talkcontribs) 04:13, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Sensormatic page[edit]

Hello Mean as Custard, I see that you reverted the Sensormatic page back to an older version citing that it was "blatantly promotional." I can tell you that much of the information on the current page is outdated. I'm afraid I have a conflict of interest and should not be updating this page myself, but I would like for it to reflect correct info that is current. I don't want to be promotional, simply factual. I know you can request an article to be written by an editor, but is there a way that I can request an update in the same fashion? Any advice would be appreciated. --Kborrellitrs (talk) 17:51, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sport360 Page[edit]

Dear Mean as custard, I am confused about the removal of interviews (regarded by yourself as link farming) due to them being public data. It's a pretty sparse page that could do with increased information about the newspaper and its' workings. What would you recommend I do about the interviews as I would like very much to add them to the page in some form or another. Sincerely Events360 (talk) 08:04, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be allowed by Wikipedia regulations to have a small section with notable interviews, similar to that posted by The Guardian and other highly regarded newspapers? Events360 (talk) 08:47, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hard Hat Article Deletions G'day Mean as custard! A few days ago, I added historical information about MSA hard hats to this page in keeping with the discussion of technological advances. Within five minutes all of those additions were deleted as "advertising". I take issue with these deletions, as my additions were no different than those of Bullard, another hard hat manufacturer. If you are going to strip company references, how about some consistency? I see no reason to delete relevant historical information from one company if another's contributions are allowed to stand. Then again, do you work for Bullard? Thanks for your time!

Greetings, Vandalism : No, Lucidity : Yes[edit]

The pages I (Abeloth) noticed are for promotional intents... Panic is a shareware company,etc...

Wikipedia is filled of promotional pages... Written as advertisement. It's no vandalism it's lucidity...

About 2,860,000 results (0.43 seconds) results inside Google for "site :wikipedia.org & intext:This article appears to be written like an advertisement."

(Abeloth) 08:48, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds about right, but redirecting them all to the Wikipedia policy page on promotional content is not the best solution. . . Mean as custard (talk) 09:55, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is the best solution ?[edit]

From a different point of view, If Panic write a post about Panic, that's considered as a promotional intent. But a post written by someone about Panic could be considered as non promotional ?

- How can we establish a difference ?

- Why some are granted ? Some are refused ?

A software company must be part of history to be part of Wikipedia ?

Hi. Could you please tell me why your are deleting my edit of the Barabary Macaques in Gibraltar? I am writing under the popular culture subcategory that a book has recently been published and it features the Barbary Macaques of Gibraltar. Why are you deleting this edit? If this is allowed, "They are also featured in the 2007 Stieg Larsson novel The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. The Gibraltar Barbary macaques are also central to the plot of Paul Gallico's 1962 comedic novel Scruffy, set during WWII when their numbers were dwindling. The population decline of the Barbary macaques features in the 1962 British comedy film Operation Snatch." Surely, my edit where I include: "* In 2015, 'Dimensions,' published the first colouring book about Gibraltar. The book is titled 'Max the Macaque' which themes a Barbary Macaque throughout most pages" should be accepted.

Good Afternoon Mean as Custard I am just making my first steps into editing a page, and it's taking me a little time to add all the references while I work out how to do it. Meanwhile I suddenly find you have deleted all my updates regarding earFold on the Otoplasty page. Can you please explain why, and also give me a chance to reference it? You mentioned advertising, but this is a clinical procedure, tried and tested and offered by top class plastic surgeons throughout europe, and it is a procedure that people want to find out about. It offers an alternative treatment to people who would otherwise undergo a lengthy operation and if you read blogs and online forums on the number of people who are desperate to find out about alternative treatments and to stop the suffering they are enduring,it might help understand why the addition of this information is important to inform (not sell). As I said I am in the process of adding references and citing sources. I would greatly appreciate you guidance as to what would make this more acceptable? I cannot see how the information is conflicting / selling, especially when the previous sector on earBuddies appears to be acceptable to you, but my edit is not? Make_(software)[edit]

The existing external link is (a) obsolete, pointing to a domain which is no longer in use but only forwards to a different domain, and (b) ultimately forwards to the same page which I changed it to: after my change it merely goes directly to that page rather then getting redirected a few times and ending up there anyway. Please add some sort of explanation when you undo.

Recent Edit[edit]

Hi Mean as Custard, I am unsure as to why you have removed the edit and citation I have added as the link does not sell anything, it is an informational blog that I have come across. I understand the owner of the blog is a company, but in the financial sector you will struggle to find websites that provide content that aren't somehow affiliated to a business, its not the sexiest of topics for joe public to write about. Please re-evaluate your position. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackbarron1987 (talkcontribs) 12:39, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

International Schools[edit]

Mean as Custard, I too am unsure why you would remove the latest edit to the See Also section of the International Schools page which simply adds one more organization that provides LOTS of information on international schools. This latest link falls directly in line with the 3 existing links for that section so please let it stand. If not, I would love to hear your rationale for the removal.Rsnyd46 (talk) 14:34, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

With all due respect, this article and section in particular contains links to 3 other organizations that works with International Schools the same way we do and we provide much more information in general. I suggest you either add our link or remove the other 3 to be fair. Perhaps you are working for one of these organizations and there is a conflict of interests...Rsnyd46 (talk) 15:48, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to Socialbakers page[edit]

Hi Mean as custard,

Yesterday, I made a complete overhaul of the Socialbakers company page (under the user name (Philross123), because the company relaunched and rebranded. The changes were rejected out of hand. If I migrate many of our old citations in to the new page (they declined from 34 references to 6 references) will you allow the changes to stay? I can of course also try and make the editorial language more neutral, if at any point it was decided to be too biased. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philross1234 (talkcontribs) 16:42, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds ok, as the problems as I saw it were the removal of cited content, the addition of uncited content, and the somewhat promotional language. . . Mean as custard (talk) 17:50, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Query about an AIV report[edit]

Hi, Mean. Thanks for this report. I have blocked the account, as it is clearly a vandalism-only account. It is a most peculiar kind of vandalism, and also remarks the editor made about "the last time" and such like things make it look very much like a sockpuppet of a blocked editor, as you suggested. deleting references to official the european commission source[edit]

Dear Mean As Custard, The website www.urbanaccessregulations.eu is the official European Commission funded source for information on low emission zones, urban road charging and other access regulation/restriction schemes. It is an official source, hence our adding it there. We are linked already by other independent users, we are correcting the website url. We have often been used as the source, but not referenced. We will ensure that we add additional information and references. Best Regards, www.urbanaccessregulations.eu

Just because it is "official" does not make it appropriate to add the link indiscriminately to multiple articles, especially as your user name suggests you have a conflict of interest. . . Mean as custard (talk) 10:37, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Citizenship Test external link removal undone[edit]

I undid your removal of an external link to [www.naturalization-test.org] which is a similar to other citizenship links on that page. I see no reason why [www.naturalization-test.org] should not have a right to be mentioned whereas others, such as [www.citizenshiptests.net/us-citizenship-test] are being allowed. "Citizenship" and "Naturalization" mean the same thing in this context. Therefore I decided to undo your removal. If you decide to undo my action, please explain your logic. What was that?[edit]

May I ask why you reverted User:Timothycrice on his own talkpage, without explanation? And why in particular back to a version by an IP? If you read the IP's edit, it's obvious that that's Timothycrice himself, editing logged out, so why single that one out? Was this just a fat-finger edit on your part, or what? Bishonen | talk 00:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC).[reply]

It was because the user was continuing to do what he had been specifically asked not to do, and making huge numbers of tiny edits, and I wanted to get an idea of what they amounted to in total, which was very little. . . Mean as custard (talk) 08:55, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it was very little. But I had specifically told him I wouldn't object to him editing his own page in that silly way. Please don't revert him there. "Traditionally Wikipedia offers wide latitude to users to manage their user space as they see fit", as I expect you know. And please use edit summaries, especially for stuff that really requires explanation, as this did. You didn't answer my question about why you reverted to the IP. Didn't you realize that was him too? Hi, I encounter you having removing adverts and blanking pages on userpages - nice work fighting them spammers. The ones I came across, at least, some of them I undid you and tagged for G11 and it went through. If it's not a spammy username, then I just use regular G11. Maybe this is a sign you can boldly tag more? — kikichugirl speak up! 20:45, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

High Availability[edit]

I see that you just deleted my entry in High Availability for OpenClovis, Inc. This entry was placed within the "external links" section which currently has 2 links, both promoting some HA product (Cisco and IBM z9), and one link that times out. OpenClovis SAFplus is both open source see: https://github.com/OpenClovis/SAFplus-Availability-Scalability-Platform and based on the Service Availability Forum standards so is probably a better choice for external link than the other entries, which are very specific to a particular product line. Please undo your deletion, or remove everything in the "external links" section (removing everything would be a great disservice, IMHO because people need to know (in an unobtrusive way) that products exist or they may reinvent the wheel). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewstone (talkcontribs) 19:37, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ben Jacobson (entrepreneur)[edit]

The article Ben Jacobson (entrepreneur) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails general notability guidelines - no provided references indicate notability of this individual

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stevie is the man! Still pure advertising. . . Mean as custard (talk) 08:41, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm struggling to see how it's any different from any other sports clubs pages both within our league and others, for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melbourne_Royals

The below paragraph outlines objective facts about the club.

'The club strives to foster a positive culture and atmosphere both on and off the field. The slogan is “We Are One” – a philosophy that emphasizes teamwork, spirit, inclusion, loyalty, and club unity. The club values players of all shapes, sizes, and athletic abilities — what’s most important to in a player or coach is work ethic and team spirit. All teams within the Western Crusaders enjoy the support of a very experienced, highly dedicated and comprehensive coaching staff who are able to teach both experienced and rookie players alike.'

The below paragraph also outlines objective facts along with 3rd party sources.

The club has a proud history of success that includes three Division One senior men’s championships (1999, 2000 & 2007), two women’s championships (2013, 2014) and one junior championship (2013). In 2014, the Senior Crusaders finished second within their conference and fourth overall amongst 10 Division One clubs. The Foxes – the first full kit women’s gridiron team in Victoria – were undefeated once again for the 2014 season, going on to claim their second Gridiron Victoria Women’s League title. The Junior Cru lost just one game for the 2013 season, before storming to victory in the Junior Vic Bowl.

Are the below paragraphs the main issue? I may be able to delete them.

The club invites prospective players to learn more about the Crusaders or the women's team, the Western Foxes, by visiting the website at www.westerncrusaders.com.au. The club is located at Henry Turner Oval, Cnr Farnsworth Ave and Maribyrnong Blvd, Footscray.

Upcoming games and events, recruitment info, and club news is found on the clubs Facebook: facebook.com/CrusadersFootball and facebook.com/WesternFoxes

In the mean time I'm unsure why you feel the page must be deleted in full. Wikipedia policy, as far as I am aware, does not demand such pages be taken down right away. You could instead place a warning on the page. McMaster Engineering edits on April 6[edit]

Thank you for your recent edit to this page. I understand that some of the content was too promotional - yes, i am the public relations person for the faculty, but this isn't against your rules - but a lot of it was just plain facts , i.e.) list of deans, student life, links to key facilities, departments. The vision was outdated so I updated it. The section re: the Redsuits is inaccurate. Hamilton is a city and I would argue most of the city has no idea that the Redsuits exist. Student life is more than one group, too. The fireball is a tradition, thus why I moved it there. Can we please find a compromise here? I'd like to add a bit more information to the opening section beyond the year the faculty was formed. Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MoniqueBeech (talkcontribs) 14:02, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please help me know if specific sections of the changes I made are too promotional however I am just updating the information so it is up to date.

I need to at least change everything in the Infobox as I uploaded our latest logo with registered mark, updated our revenue to this year's, made sure that our Company name includes LLP without a comma, added the risk and performance services, as well as added our new CEO Jim Powers. These items are not promotional at all they are factually correct.

On the rest of the Wikipedia page I made some simple changes on the description to update the services, number of personnel and update our numbers with Crowe Horwath International. Since I listed those items in the description I removed some of that information from the History.

The services I added are just a few more items that Crowe Horwath offers and in the Recognition area I updated the awards so that they are up to date.

Can you please help me figure out what issues you see from my revisions, how I can change them so I can update this page to the best of my ability? If it means removing certain sections that is possible too, I just want to make sure my changes are on the page. Hopefully we can work this out, thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tranjaso (talkcontribs) 13:37, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you work for the company then you need to read WP:COI. You knew exactly what you were doing because you removed the banners declaring the article to be written like an advertisement and relying on primary sources, and made the article even worse in those respects. I suggest you try editing other articles which you don't have any conflict of interest with. . . Mean as custard (talk) 13:48, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

History part on Chopard article[edit]

Dear Mean as custard

Thank you for your involvement regarding this project. Could you tell me why did you delete the paragraphs 2013 and 2014 in the history section but also the link Palme d'or in paragraph 1998?

Thank you in advance,

Sincerely,

The deleted paragraphs were unreferenced and promotional. . .Mean as custard (talk) 17:22, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mean as custard Thank you for your reply. If we add some references related to these paragraphs, would you agree with that?

Thank you in advance,

Sincerely,

Yes, if the references are to third-party independent sources which confirm the notability of any additions. . . Mean as custard (talk) 16:48, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mean as custard,

Thank you for your reply, we will come back to you soon.

Dear Mean as custard,

As agreed, please find a proposal in the Chopard EN talk page regarding 2013 and 2014 paragraphs. We included third parties sources in order to provide added value to this article.

Could you please give us your feedback about this proposal? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Chopard#Few_modifications_of_Chopard_sections

Quality Distribution[edit]

Mean as Custard

Hello! Why are you reverting the Quality Distribution page to the older, stale information? In the new version, there is no marketing material, etc. If you review a Quality Distribution earnings release (Nasdaq: QLTY), you will see under "About Quality" the information listed is accurate as in our 10K, etc. that you can find on SEC.gov.

The information listed currently is stale and not accurate, let's come to a conclusion so that the information does not get reverted back and forth.

Thank you!

Banque de l'Union Haitienne[edit]

Hi Custard,

You ask me to remove promotional content from the page, which I did. The information that are posted right now are incorrect. What are the other information that you would like me to change?

Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdgbuh (talkcontribs) 15:51, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My main objection was to your adding the sections headed "Our Mission", "Our Vision" and "Our Values". Other sections might be acceptable if they provided references to third-party independent sources. . . Mean as custard (talk) 15:54, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Jaredsem[edit]

Last November you warned user Jaredsem about adding spam-links. User:Gaijin42 warned him 5 May about COI. And that is the same behaviour that give me the suspicion that we are dealing here with a paid editor. Many times he added long lists of institutions, either backup up by the company website, just a random list from some non-notable institution or completely unsourced. But quite often you see Vatterott College appear.

This is not kosher and I like to have a few more opinions. The Banner talk 17:25, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a persistent problem, then ANI is probably the appropriate venue. Gaijin42 (talk) 17:38, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't noticed a conflict of interest, but huge lists of institutions unbalance an article, especially when only US institutions are listed and the article has a worldwide perspective. . . Mean as custard (talk) 19:22, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sportingbet South Africa[edit]

Hi Mean as custard,

can you give me some guidlines to follow that won't mean the Sportingbet South Africa page gets directed to the Sportingbet PLC page?

Sportingbet in South Africa is a brand owned by Netbet and we fall under the GVC Holdings umbrella.

Currently, in South Africa, when people search for Sportingbet, they are viewing incorrect details as they are seeing the PLC page - we are however a different and independent company.

Sportingbet is a leading provider of sports betting, casinos, games and poker on line and on mobile. It was established over fifteen years ago in 1998 and acquired by GVC in March 2013. It has licences with Alderney, Denmark, Germany, South Africa, Malta, Dutch Caribbean and the UK.

Please advise.

Fire departments[edit]

Please review the documentation for the {{Infobox fire department}} before you make changes like you did on Ventura County Fire Department. The moto parameter is for the moto of the department. Not a label of the image. --Zackmann08 (talk) 20:08, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

May 2015[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ventura County Fire Department. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. See the message I already left you. Zackmann08 (talk) 21:04, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It needs more than two editors to achieve consensus. . . Mean as custard (talk) 21:06, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what you are talking about.. The removal of promotional material I agree with, and have re-done. That makes total sense. The use of the motto to label the image is just dead wrong. Look at every other fire department page on wikipedia. NONE of them use that to label the image. Plus, the parameter is called moto not image_label. If you feel the need to insert a label under the image, which has not been done before, then a parameter can be added to the template. But to use the moto parameter to insert a label is just wrong. --Zackmann08 (talk) 21:12, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
So basically you now agree with the main purpose of my edits and have reinstated them, but have not withdrawn your accusation of disruptive editing and are continuing to moan about a minor detail, which I can't be bothered to dispute any further. . . RTX : Real Time eXtensions for Windows[edit]

Hello Mean as custard

Could you please let me know why the page for RTX was redirected to IntervalZero? Doesn't the Software as the first real time extension for windows have a certain relevance for it's own page? Thank you for an explanation. Regards IntervalZeroEN (talk) 08:36, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea if it has any relevance, because the article had no references to third-party independent sources to show whether it was in any way notable. . . Mean as custard (talk) 08:47, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thank you for your fast response. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to add all the necessary independent references, however I do have them and would like to complete the article if you could reverse the redirection. After having done so the relevance might be given? The article already exists in German, Czech, Italian and French and they all use independent English sources I would like to add to the English version of RTX. IntervalZeroEN (talk) 09:14, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I undid your redirection and added all necessary references. I hope it doesn’t offend you in any way and you can see a relevance of the article as a main article on wikipedia now. If you have any suggestion for improvement please don't hesitate to let me know. IntervalZeroEN (talk) 14:32, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of San Bruno Education Foundation page[edit]

I removed the proposed deletion template from San Bruno Education Foundation because I believe it is within Wikipedia's guidelines for notability and it is not an advertisement. I have listed the reasons at Talk:San Bruno Education Foundation, please feel free to respond there.

I think the issue here is with my inexperience as a Wikipedia contributor and not the organization itself, I'm happy to add any content you'd like to see to address the issues you pointed out.

(By the way, thanks for doing what you do to keep Wikipedia awesome. From reading over your talk page, it seems like a mostly thankless task.) Srose~commonswiki (talk) 22:12, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to City of Bristol College[edit]

Hi - I have been trying to update the City of Bristol College page. This morning I have updated the Awards section, as the previous content was a few years out of date. All of the content added is factual and I have added links to prove that the Awards are valid. Please explain why my updates have been deleted. thanks.

There was already an awards section at the bottom of the page. Putting an uncited list of awards in the introduction smacks of promotion, as does removing the name of a notable student who might reflect badly on the college. . . Mean as custard (talk) 10:56, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to SHARK Energy[edit]

Dear Mean as custard. We are the digital agency Osotspa, tha official trademark holder of SHARK Energy Drink globally. We have made some changes in SHARK Energy page, as per our client's (Osotspa) request. The content is not promotional, it is educational. We want to update the existed article with correct brand information, and you have removed ALL of our client's changes and revert it back to the wrong information. Can you please explain us why you have changed it all? We can send you any requested certificate to approve that our information are correct and what WE add in the article is the correct information, not the existed one. Please revert it back to Osotspa and Com2go latest version or explain and identify yourself. Please note that in case non of our changes can be approved, then this existing page has to be completely deleted instead of having wrong information and we would proceed with trademark infringement and copyright reports. Thank you in advance. Com2go Ltd Com2go — Preceding undated comment added 13:20, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
