Tom Chavez help

Hi Susan. I noticed that you are a member of the Hispanic and Latino Americans task force, and was hoping you might take a look at my draft for Tom Chavez, an American entrepreneur of Mexican descent. I can't publish it myself due to a COI, and would love to collaborate with the community on this. Thanks for your help! CJ for superset (talk) 15:26, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

@CJ for superset: I'll see what I can find. If there's more sources, that always helps. I've been a bit slow, so bear with me! :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 00:54, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
Thank you! Looking forward to your feedback. CJ for superset (talk) 14:14, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
Hey there, Susan. Just a friendly reminder to take a look at draft for Tom Chavez if you get the chance. Thanks again! CJ for superset (talk) 15:17, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
Hi! CJ for superset I'm sorry. I'm really spread thin these days. I'm going to move it out. There's enough sources to justify him passing GNG. Make sure there's links to his article on other pages and all the categories are filled out. I added a few cats for you. Megalibrarygirl (talk) 00:51, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
Susan, thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to look this over. CJ for superset (talk) 14:02, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
No worries, CJ for superset! He was clearly notable and featured in a lot of different sources! Have a happy holiday! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 22:05, 17 December 2021 (UTC)

WiR Veronica Beechey reference behind paywall

Hello! I'm trying to work up an article on Veronica Beechey, who died this year (draft EEHalli/Veronica Beechey). Her Guardian obit was written by a friend so I'd like to dig into her academic impact from a more independent source. I think there could be some useful material on how she co-founded the Open University's womens studies course here, but it's behind a paywall: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/0277539583900523. Any help would be much appreciated. EEHalli (talk) 19:12, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

@EEHalli: I don't have access to Elsevier, but I did find one full text article on EBSCOhost which reviews her book, A Matter of Hours that I can email to you. Send me an email so I have your address, then I can push the articles out to you. You might want to try another librarian Wikipedian. Gamaliel is an academic librarian and might have access to Elsivier. In addition, there are reviews of her work behind a paywall in Review of Radical Political Economics DOI: 10.1177/048661349102300327, Sociological Review DOI: 10.1111/j.1467-954X.1987.tb00016.x, Sociology DOI: 10.1177/0038038588022002016, British Journal of Sociology DOI: 10.2307/590306. BTW, if you are located close to a university or college that is publicly funded, you can access their databases in person. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 00:59, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
@EEHalli: I can send you a PDF if you shoot me an email. Gamaliel (talk) 19:32, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
Thanks, Gamaliel! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 22:06, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
