East Grand Forks article

Thanks for all the work you did on the EGF article! I have worked on the Grand Forks, North Dakota article quite a bit. Nice to see someone help out with the east side! --MatthewUND(talk) 23:40, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Wikiproject North Dakota

Hi! you might be interested in helping Wikiproject North Dakota off the drawing board. --AlexWCovington (talk) 22:31, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject North Dakota is official! Sort of. Lot of cleanup needed on the project page and plenty of work to do making a decent to-do list, etc. etc., but it all starts somewhere. Thanks for all your help! --AlexWCovington (talk) 05:28, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:KLXX-AM.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:KLXX-AM.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Air America

Why did you remove the link to Air America? Rx StrangeLove 21:31, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry...why are you editing as an IP w/o edit summaries? I saw the blanking and made sure it was still in business and reverted. Rx StrangeLove 21:45, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Prairie Public Television

I just wanted to credit you for the idea you had to put all the stations in a grid; I just applied your design (with minor changes) to the article for my state's network, Wisconsin Public Television because it would've been messy with an infobox. Thanks for the great idea! Nate 06:41, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Generally, we do not over-write old TV station logos with new ones, as we prefer to save the old ones for logo galleries. In any event, the new logo should not be in the infobox just yet until the branding has actually changed. Morgan Wick 05:29, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

I noticed that you reverted my edit to Template:Infobox_broadcast, due to it being broken. Can you please let me know what broke? I was attempting to make the "homepage" attribute optional, due to the fact that many low-power stations do not have a homepage. I believe that simply making "Website" disappear when there is no homepage is much better than using "homepage = None." for these stations. Anyway, if you could let me know which pages broke, and how, I can correct my mistake and get on with using the template. :-) Cheers! --AlexDW 18:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

That's fine... thanks for the re-revert. --AlexDW 02:47, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

KFAN/KFXN

I reverted your edit on KFXN (which is itself a redirect anyways). KFXN, though it is a sister station of KFAN, is still its own station, and I may even put a little information about its history and individual programming apart from KFAN. Just letting you know.--Fightingirish 05:43, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

I did know KFXN is a seperate station from KFAN with its own programming, but the artice was a redirect. Thanks though.--grejlen - talk 22:53, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
KFXN now has its own entry, and the template has been changed back. Please do not change it again, because you are supplying the wrong information. --Fightingirish 06:54, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

WPND AFD Alert: Hawktree Golf Club

Hawktree Golf Club is up at AFD. Please vote to keep this North Dakota related article. --AlexWCovington (talk) 02:21, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I'm going to star working on improving some of these course articles... I wish I had a camera right now... --AlexWCovington (talk) 05:58, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

We have another one

Grand Cities Mall is now on AfD. Can't we get a break? --AlexWCovington (talk) 15:06, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Requests for recreation of articles should be posted at WP:DRV. Cheers, —Ruud 14:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure how this message function works, but thank you for the welcoming. --Radisshu 00:20, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Well, I noticed its deletion (the Jeffree Star article) when I thought wikipedia would be a good source for information on him, as I usually like learning about new things that come to mind on this site, so I created a user account to add to the discussion (that was wiped. TWICE). --Radisshu 00:28, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
"Hey, let's remove the article about Hitler. He was a racist madman. How can an article about a racist madman possibly be on this site?" Well, that might be a bad analogy, but it's somewhat the same. I really find it annoying when people's personal opinions come in the way of managing a neutral encyclopedia. I'm not a fan of his, but I don't even see how that matters. Anyway, it's good to see people who actually try to mantain the neutrality.--Radisshu 00:37, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Your repeated lies do you no good. This was the discussion about the deletion of the article: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jeffree Star. Nobody said he was a "perverted media whore". User:Zoe|(talk) 23:22, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

I recreated the Jeffree Star article page, and if you think it's biased, please say so in its discussion page. Feel free to expand.

'Why did you put Jeffree Star up for speedy deletion?...I know it's been deleted and recreated many times...'

If you knew the answer already, why did you ask the question? You may wish to actually READ the notice, particularly the portion which says It is reposted content that was removed in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. (CSD G4).
I'll note that previous messages indicate that this is not your first attempt, so pretending not to understand why the tag was applied is not a tactic I advise continuing. --CalendarWatcher 00:12, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
I have done this before, and I want to know if there's another reason besides the policy for deleting the article all the time. Star is getting more well-known and he's working on a studio album under the MySpace/Interscope label. I hope this is not an act of censorship, and I'm not saying you or any other administrator who has deleted the article is censoring Wikipedia.--grejlen - talk 00:52, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Another reason BESIDES policy? Pardon me, but that's sufficient, full stop. It doesn't meet the standards, it violates policy, it goes, full stop. This is about as simple as can be, and all the irrelevant tangents and bluster do not change that. --CalendarWatcher 02:01, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
If you are unwilling to acquaint yourself with the basic requirements it is not my responsibility to teach them to you. Try your luck at WP:Deletion review and see if you can find someone there. --CalendarWatcher 04:22, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
