Thanks!

Thanks for the barnstar. Also, thank you for your work on Wyoming articles, especially for Green River, Rock Springs the surrounding areas. Wyoming is so big, yet there are so few of us editing Wyoming articles on Wikipedia that every little bit is a huge help! :) CosmicPenguin (Talk) 16:07, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

KAHM & KYCA wikipages

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I updated KYCA & KAHM wikipages to conform to the templates for the WikiProject Radio Stations. Take a look and let me know if you have any ideas, as I would like to improve the content available on wikipedia (such as several old photos of KYCA)

Thanks for letting me know. The history sections of each article could be expanded as much as you want them to be, just make sure the material is referenced (i.e. you can find a website etc). Pictures would be cool too. By all means, improve the article as much as you want to, just make sure it conforms to Wikipedia's styles, and has a neutral point of view etc. Thanks, keep up the good work! Thanks for the tune-up It will definately make updating it easier (we have a minor programming change due to daylight savings) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.230.215.42 (talk) 21:02, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Thats an awesome picture of KYCA. I have updated the copyright thing and removed the tag. Its just bot spam, don't worry about it. You wouldn't happen to have current pictures of the studio and/or transmitter? I think it would be interesting to see them on the page as well. Milonica (talk) 21:40, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I have a picture of the KAHM repeater, and have updated an autumn photo of KYCA. I also have a winter and a summer photo from the same vantage point. I can snap a picture of the antenna / tranmitter building, bt I will need to get permission of the broadcast engineer and owner before posting. Do you really think people would be interested in such a picture? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeke D (talkcontribs) 22:09, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I for one would be interested in seeing those pictures. We don't necessarily have to have that many pictures on the KYCA or KAHM pages, just enough to explain the subject. I believe pictures of the towers themselves would probably be the next ones you could place on the two pages. If you want, you can post them on the article's talk pages and we can go from there. Milonica (talk) 00:15, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I now have permission to post photos of both KAHM sites, and KYCA. I have already posted a photo of K269EE on the KAHM site. Zeke D (talk) 20:17, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

KYET AM1180

You already know that KYET is a 10kW station, but they have been on and off the air since the 80s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeke D (talkcontribs) 21:28, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I just seem to find it odd that they can't maintain themselves on air. I am in Utah, and I am almost positive I could hear this station if they actually broadcasted once and awhile :D. Milonica (talk) 21:40, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

KAHM & KYCA wikipages

I was discussing the history of KYCA with the station owner, and Arizona historian Elisabeth Ruffner, and they advised me that although KYCA didnt broadcast until 1940, it was incorperated in 1934 by 5 Prescott area businessmen. They felt the need to have a YCA radio station to replace an earlier station that had gon defunct during the depression. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeke D (talkcontribs) 21:50, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

KBOZ logos

I see you've added logos to the KBOZ (AM) and KBOZ-FM articles but it looks like you found the 1993 logos at the Montanavision site instead of the current logos as shown at http://www.kboz.com/. Might I humbly suggest that the current logos would be more appropriate for these articles and the ones you have already uploaded moved to a history section of each article? - Dravecky (talk) 22:59, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I'll get right on it. Milonica (talk) 05:14, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
