Repeated reversions

Given you are new, please realise that bold changes are often reverted then subject to discussion on the talk page, as per WP:BRD. This is particularly true of high-profile areas such as city image montages, you will not get anywhere trying to just force your changes through. Your images have issues and also one of them might have copyright issues and may need to be flagged on the Commons. Please suggest your changes on the Brisbane talk page so they can be discussed by editors.Gracchus250 (talk) 06:32, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

This is just the way Wikipedia works, everything is subject to discussion and the input of other editors. Making the initial edits is fine, but they were always going to get reverted and edit warring to get your desired changes through is not constructive editing. You also shouldn't change images if the new ones aren't ready and are both low resolution and in the wrong aspect ratio. I suggest you take your proposed changes to the talk page. I don't have a strong opinion on it, but I would suspect that 1) there will be discussion over the appropriateness of Burnett Lane, and 2) over whether that image of Town Hall is less illustrative than the current one. I have just restored the Story Bridge image as it didn't need resizing, looks better than the other one anyway. But left a message on the talk page regarding the other two, + resized those images. Lemme know on there.--Mirka1989 (talk) 12:30, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
