Proposed deletion of Kolath[edit]

Hi Mjjoe,

I removed the PROD tag you placed on Kolath because a previous version of the article had a deletion discussion, making it ineligble for deletion by PROD. For recreations of articles deleted at AFD, you should instead tag the article for speedy deletion under criterion G4 if you think the article doesn't address the concerns of the version previously deleted at AFD, or start a new AFD if you think the article is significantly different than the previous version but should still be deleted. Please don't revert edits as vandalism that aren't clearly vandalism[edit]

Your revert at Riva Philip, Kolath Tholoor has been reverted by me. He contested the prod, and it wasn't a sticky blp prod so there is no prohibition to anyone reverting a prod. I'm not sure he understands that the sources template isn't part of it, so feel free to restore that if you want or to take it to afd. I'd probably stop by the afd and recommend deletion, but I'm not convinced enough at this point to start an afd of my own. Syrthiss (talk) 17:55, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm aware of the problems we have with the articles about random people and families from India. While its expected that someone will supply a reason for contesting the prod, the guidelines for prod explicitly state to not restore the notice even if you feel it was removed in bad faith. I was reverting the IPs removal once or twice as vandalism considering the other edits, but if the article creator comes back and deprods we really have to take that as read. Take it to afd, please do not restore the prod. Syrthiss (talk) 18:26, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 18[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Annie Funk, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages West Chester and Northfield (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
