Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

Hi[edit]

Hi Mmfireman, I appreciate your input on the Falafel talk page. In the future you should type ~~~~ instead of writing your name -- as the website software will convert the tildes into your signature and add a time and date stamp too!!

That said, have you ever edited Wikipedia before? Maybe a long time ago? You remind me of someone whose discussions I found very interesting!! Take care, -- nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 04:33, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this, could you explain your use of the phrase "suppositious Hebrew". I'm not familiar with the term. -- nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 00:51, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nsaum75. I will gladly explain. Many people innocently mistaken that the Hebrews of antiquity are the same people who claim to be Jews. This is incorrect as there is no reliable biological evidence to support this, especially when it involves those of European ancestry who call themselves Ashkenazi. The modern-day language that is referred to as Hebrew is not really the decendant of the Hebrew of antiquity but suppositious language created by the Zionist movement; During the 1800s the Zionist leaders made it up in order to create a new identity. While it does borrow words from the biblical Hebrew language of history, it is mostly comprised of words that were taken from Arabic, Aramahic, Yiddish, German, and French. These words were changed by the Zionists to sound more like what they believed a hebrew word would sound like (e.g. endings in "im"). Unfortunately most people are unaware of truth behind the language, religion, culture and biological appropriations made by modern day people and governmental entities in the Middle East. I hope this answers your question. Thank you, Mmfireman
