April 2015 (blocked from editing Wikipedia for undisclosed paid editing)[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for undisclosed paid editing, in direct violation of Wikipedia's Terms of Use.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Yunshui  12:11, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Yunshui. I do not know why I have been blocked. I cannot access the OTRS, can you please tell me the reason why I have been blocked?Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk) 12:49, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You have been soliciting money for editing Wikipedia, without disclosing this fact on Wikipedia itself. This is a direct violation of the Foundation's Terms of Use. Yunshui  12:51, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But Yunshui that was about a year ago and I was blocked for that and then it was over.
Your email copied in OTRS is from last week. I'm aware that you cannot view the ticket, however I am sure you are aware of your recent business activities. Yunshui  12:54, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yunshui Can you please share it with me?
Doing so would be a violation of the OTRS policy, so no. I note also that the article for which you were requesting payment is only a few weeks old, so your claim that you have ceased editing for pay is disingenuous to say the least. Yunshui  12:58, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Which article is it Yunshui?Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk)
Again. privacy concerns prevent me from revealing that specific information. How many articles have you requested payment for in the last month or two? If the volume is so great that you don't even know which one I'm referring to, then your paid editing is a more serious concern than I thought. Yunshui  13:01, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yunshui I have not requested anybody any payment for any article. That's why I am asking. Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk) 13:02, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you are not prepared to be honest with me, then I have no interest in continuing this discussion. Yunshui  13:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yunshui, I am being honest with you.

Yunshui, I have not made the account Gujjar Daw. Please do a check user and that will confirm that I am telling the truth.Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk)
Note to reviewing admin Please see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vamsiraj: I'm now at least convinced beyond reasonable doubt that User:Gujjar Daw is not, in fact, Muhammad Ali Khalid. Yunshui  19:47, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am requesting unblocking of my account. The unblock guide says that one should first understand the reason why one has been blocked. However, I am just told that I have done paid editing and that my account has been blocked. I don't understand this reason. Someone sent an email in OTRS and my account was blocked. Anybody can send any email. I understand that there are privacy concerns, but I should be allowed to view that email and present my side of the case. This email could be 2 years old when I did paid editing first and was blocked for that. Secondly, User:Gujjar Daw, whose account was closed as being my sock puppet has nothing to do with me. This guy was trying to create the page, Sher Medaan Da, which he had been trying to created since 12 April. And this page is related to User:Vamsiraj who already has several sock puppets. A checkuser would reveal that I have nothing in common with any of his sock puppets.Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk) 03:58, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Please lodge your appeal using the Unblock Ticket Request System so that the private evidence may be adequately addressed. MER-C 05:16, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello Salvidrim!, I requested my account to be unblocked through the UTRS, but it was declined with the response that this is my website. However, this is not. Muhammad Ali is the most common name in the Muslim world and this happens to be just another person who works in the same city as I am in. He is a web developer, whereas I was only a writer. I did do paid editing, but I was blocked for that about 15 months ago and then that was that.Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk) 03:44, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help Needed[edit]

Hello Mark Arsten, I need a little help from you. I have been blocked and I believe the block is a result of a misunderstanding. I am writing to you because you blocked me about two years ago for paid editing. At that time, I did do paid editing and I was blocked for two weeks. Anyway, recently I was blocked because someone sent an email in the OTRS. I haven't seen the email. I tried the UTRS but I got an unrelated response, which I have discussed below. Anyway since I cannot respond to the email from UTRS and since the evidence is private, can you please review it. I have not been given any chance of explaining the email. I am pretty sure, this email would have been from 2 years ago. If I give you my email address here, can you send that email to me?

The response that I got from the UTRS was am declining your request because it doesn't look like you're being completely honest with us due to your conflict of interest: http://www.muhammadalikhalid.com/search-engine-optimization/ This website is not mine. Muhammad Ali is the most common name in the Muslim world and this happens to be just another person who works in the same city as I am in. He is a web developer, whereas I was only a writer.

Lastly, I do know that posting message here again and again is a violation and I could be blocked for it. But I feel that nobody is listening to me. If you can please review the evidence with me, I will not post here again. Thanks Muhammad Ali Khalid (talk) 11:34, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is some evidence that for which I have been blocked, don't you think that I have the right to see it?

A tag has been placed on The Future Project, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
