Alcañices and translating articles[edit]

Hi Munnius, and thank you for your contributions at Alcañices, which you have recently significantly expanded. I noticed that you translated content from the Spanish version of the article, which is absolutely fine, but I'd like to point to two things: Firstly, when translating from another Wikimedia project (such as an other-language version of Wikipedia), you have to give attribution to the source material; see here for how and why. Secondly, please also cite the sources that are used in the Spanish version, for purposes of verifiability. I noticed that several parts of the Spanish Alcañices article cite sources that you omitted in the English translation. Carlo Gastini moved to draftspace[edit]

The title is wrong. For one thing, "academician" is not a common English word, so it would have to be "academic". But in any case the article says little or nothing about his academic work. I cannot even see clearly what academic field he is active in. It seems the article is almost entirely about his diplomatic work, so "Sergio Rogríguez (diplomat)" would be a more appropriate title. Or else rework this so that his academic achievements fill at least one subsection.

I am also a little worried that the Spanish Wikipedia doesn't have an article on him. If he is an important person in Spanish life, I would have thought the Spanish Wikipedians are the best people to decide on his notability.

I have no idea what "under destination" means, and I suspect a mistranslation from Spanish. In other places too, the English could be improved. In short, this needs some more work.
