October 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Andrew nyr. I noticed that in this edit to Dirty Laundry (Carrie Underwood song), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 04:21, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! — Diannaa (talk) 15:05, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Carnival Ride Tour[edit]

Until the tour meets WP:NCONCERT, please do not remove the redirect again. I caught the speedy delete in time this time, but may not be able to next. Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:39, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Man, fuck y'all. Musicaledits (talk) 12:59, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Have you read the five pillars? The reason I ask is that you're essentially blowing two out of the water with this. The first is that as an encyclopedia (pillar one) we only write about notable things, not everything that anyone things should be included. Following that pillar down, we have notability criteria and NCONCERT is one of the music criteria. Just because you think a concert tour should be included does not mean that it must be. If you think that sources will appear just because the article does, you could create a draft article. I'm not sure how you would let others know about it, but that's an alternative. Alternately, you could try to find the sources, and present them on the redirect's talk page and someone could add them from there.
The fourth pillar is that Wikipedia's editors should treat each other with respect and civility. Since you've crossed that line twice during this discussion, I don't think you have seen that page, or WP:CIVIL, but our admins are pretty strict and will block editors who regularly act like that. In WP:NOTHERE it's listed as a "major or irreconcilable conflict of attitude or intention". Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:30, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I dont care about 4 pillars, I dont care about 5 pillars. I'm just done. Musicaledits (talk) 00:43, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Disambiguation link notification for March 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited My Savior (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Victory in Jesus. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:11, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

May 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
