August 2014[edit]

Hi,

The reason I removed the gallery because it's a fansite and the gallery is also self published. If people wanted to see pictures of buses they'll look for them. And can you please stick to one account. A User who has more than one account is a Sock puppet - See WP:SOCK and is not allowed. CourtneyBonnick (talk) 21:58, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you bought back the the gallery? The site is a self published fansite and is spam. CourtneyBonnick (talk) 14:34, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

London Bus Routes Zenfolio may have more variety but it is a fan site and fan sites are not allowed if people wanted to see photos of buses they will find themselves this is a Wikipedia and not a bus enthusiast site. CourtneyBonnick (talk) 07:08, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

London Buses by Adam[edit]

Hi,

I don't think that you understand what I'm trying to say. You can have a gallery on the London Bus route pages but not from a self-published sites like London Buses by Adam. When using sites for external links it is best not to use self-published sites/fan sites. Just for the record I ain't the only one who is removing London Buses by Adam. Could it be possible to use one account for Wikipedia. Thank you. CourtneyBonnick (talk) 07:25, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes User:Charlesdrakew I've been editing the bus pages for years and people like him have been reverting and removing stuff because they were unsourced or from "Fansites" like http://londonbusesbyadam.zenfolio.com/ or http://www.londonbusroutes.net/details.htm and etc. So instead of fighting or having edit wars I eventually just gave up and joined in because I found that I couldn't win. If it was me I would have allowed you to keep the gallery using http://londonbusesbyadam.zenfolio.com/ but what can you do. CourtneyBonnick (talk) 22:33, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

September 2014[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to London Buses route 7. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
