Charmed images

Ok, here is whats up with the images you're inquiring about. The only ones that have been listed for deletion on the images for deletion page are the publicity shots. The problem is we don't have proof that they are released for promotional use, and they represent a complete work (the entire publicity shot.) What has been discussed for Star Trek and Dawson's Creek for example, is that these are better suited to be replaced with screencaps instead - because they are less infringing - the represent only a portion of the work (only one clip from an entire show) and they are more easily sourced than the publicity shots.

As for the screencaps that are tagged, they actually, for the most part, are fine. They are only tagged for speedy deletion because they just need Fair Use rationale added to the image. All you need to do for those is edit the image page and add a fair use rationale to it. Once this is done then they comply and you can simply remove the tag from the image.

There are a few others that may have some other issues. I want to help you out on this, as there's no reason to have all the screencaps deleted if they get rationales attached. If you need any help with the rationales just let me know and I have a few templates that I have seen for rationales. They won't be deleted until the date on the speedy delete tag, so you have until then to add the rationales. As for the publicity images, just upload a screencap of the character instead, make sure you add a fair use rationale, then replace the old image with that one.

• Its okay, even though you didn't upload the images, you can still add a fair use rationale to them, anyone can. The uploaders might not add them, they might not be concerned about it. The were just tagged the other day, so someone else might come along - thats why i tagged all the captions to draw attention to it. It might look bad now, but the intent was for someone to come along and see the image was posted for speedy deletion without clicking on the image, and then they can add the rationale to save the file. I don't know a lot about Charmed, I have been doing work on several television show articles, and tried getting images compliant. All that gets done is someone gets upset that the images are getting deleted, adds a rationale, and they're saved. Like I said, if you add the rationale to them, then by all means remove the tag from the image and from the article, cuz then they comply. The only one that isn't a publicity shot that I tagged was 7x10cole or something like that. The only problem with that image aside from no rationale is that it has a logo of a fansite in it. For the main images on the infobox, you can use the template seen here at Image:JadziaDax.jpg - just edit the information about that fictional character to match the ones it is being used for.
