Articles for Creation: List of reviewers by subject notice

Hi NASCARfan0548, you are receiving this notice because you are listed as an active Articles for Creation reviewer.

Recently a list of reviewers by area of expertise was created. This notice is being sent out to alert you to the existence of that list, and to encourage you to add your name to it. If you or other reviewers come across articles in the queue where an acceptance/decline hinges on specialist knowledge, this list should serve to facilitate contact with a fellow reviewer.

To end on a positive note, the backlog has dropped below 1,500, so thanks for all of the hard work some of you have been putting into the AfC process!

Sent to all Articles for Creation reviewers as a one-time notice. To opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page. Regards, Sam-2727 (talk)

Hello @User:NASCARfan0548, I found a few sources about Jeff Agnew and added in his draft, if you find other sources it would be good to add on the page, maybe the page is now ready to be resubmit, even if the page still need some sources to increase his significant coverage, but with 29 starts in NASCAR national series (professional) he meet the WP:NMOTORSPORT. Thanks for the welcome

Thank you very much, NASCARfan0548. I'm glad to be here. I appreciate the advice regarding the talk pages and all. Go Jimmie! — Preceding unsigned comment added by SBLII (talkcontribs) 17:56, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

SBLII, you're welcome. The reason I have the "48" at the end of my username is because I'm also a fan of Jimmie. NASCARfan0548  18:33, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

I figured :). Is there a specific reason that you cheer for Hendrick Motorsports drivers, or is it just that you are a fan of those three drivers, and they happen to be Hendrick drivers? Just wondering; I'm not sure who I will cheer for after JJ retires. I like Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, and Bubba Wallace, among a few others, but I'm not sure if there's ONE to whom I should stick. Hello, NASCARfan0548,

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Needs more sources that demonstrate significant coverage and not just routine directory-style sourcing.

Thanks for the barnstar!

I appreciate it, Max! I had seen these on other people's user pages and thought someone would give me one at some point. I actually do have a good sense of humor in real life, so this barnstar fits perfectly for me! I actually didn't have that planned days in advance... I had been looking through past NASCAR season articles on Saturday (July 4th) and saw him in the 2004 Busch Series one and the 2005 and 2006 Truck Series ones. I was scrolling through those articles because I wanted to create another new article that day or the day after, and once I noticed Garrett Liberty didn't have one and then knowing what day it was, I knew I had to do it on that day for the play on words with his patriotic last name! :)

Also, you'll probably notice this since I know you track my edits, but please go to my user page today and today only- there's a cool special message on there! Cavanaughs (talk) 20:19, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Cavanaughs, You're welcome. Happy birthday too! I also checked your userpage and I like it! NASCARfan0548  20:50, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Braden Mitchell

Hello, NASCARfan0548. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Braden Mitchell".

UnitedStatesian, Thank you, I was going to do that myself. NASCARfan0548  21:15, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

NASCAR MOS

Tha nascar manual of style needs to come into line with MOS:ACCESS. I'll be raising that with them and I suspect that it will be forced to change. Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:14, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Since you've failed to point to an actual project manual of style, I've opened the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Accessibility#Apparently the NASCAR Manual of Style ignores accessibility. Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:22, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
OK, but I'm just giving you a warning that most other NASCAR drivers have a 75% font results tables. I don't want to violate WP:3RR just because of your edits. NASCARfan0548  16:24, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
OK. I'm just giving you fair warning that the NASCAR articles need to be brought into line with MOS:ACCESS. I've raised the discussion at the project page. You can't assume that just because a few articles were all made to look the same equates to an approved manual of style for a project, and even when a site-wide manual of style is made, a project's manual of style has to be brought into line with it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:28, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
Walter Görlitz, I understand. It's just, now the font on the tables is too big, Could you make the size 80% at least? NASCARfan0548  19:21, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
I don't think you understand. If you really did you would realize that the font is as small is possible and the tables are simply trying to convey too much information on a single row. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:14, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

September 2020

In edits like this you have deliberately re-introduced text that falls below the minimum accepted size laid out as a "bright line" at MOS:FONTSIZE. This restriction on the minimum font size that is acceptable in Wikipedia articles for reasons of accessibility is not negotiable. You are now aware of the limit of 85% of the base font size as a minimum, and if you repeat that sort of edit in future, you will find yourself sanctioned. Please take this warning seriously. --RexxS (talk) 13:50, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

Heyo!

Hi, I’ve seen you’ve edited the Hagerstown regional Airport recently, have you ever been there? Because I’m from there and I actually fly out of there quite often. I also like animals.

Thanks for reading maybe we can be friends? AviaWilliamEdits (talk) 17:41, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

AviaWilliamEdits, No, I'm from California, the reason I was at the article is because I like importing short descriptions from Wikidata. NASCARfan0548  17:48, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Oh nice! I’ve heard over there you can get some pretty good waves, isn’t that true? I’m on the east coast so it’s Crabs, Cold and Old Bay haha! AviaWilliamEdits (talk) 16:49, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

I'm sorry it came across as uncivil, I was just telling them to cut it out. 2600:8805:2300:31D:D1EF:8B1B:A160:6E05 (talk) 02:23, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
