The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, NeilOcampo5. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Neil Ocampo, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Ìch heiss Nat ùn ìch redd e wenig Elsässisch!Talk to me in EN, FR, PL, GSW-FR(ALS). 01:24, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I had to edit Mr.Neil Ocampo's page because I had to set the facts straight. The subject on "career" lacks information and I shall soon have to input changes there based on Mr.Ocampo's more accurate narrative. Kindly remove that message box wherein you said there are "issues" in what was written because I know better his life story than whoever wrote his Wiki page. I just had technical problems editing and saving my work on this Wiki page. Mr.Ocampo opts not to put anything about his personal life and he asked of Wiki to please just focus on his professional background. I appreciate that you recognized Mr.Ocampo in Wikipedia. No need to ask for others regarding him since he offered to be available for reference through the program's personal email or his own mobile #. Thank you.

Everything in the article must be verifiable, based on independent reliable sources, and written from a neutral point of view. Please read the policies I've linked to here, and review the conflict of interest guideline. You may also find the guideline on autobiographies helpful. Thank you.
