NASA Center budgets[edit]

NeutraI - saw your under construction template related to the NASA Center budgets. Go for it but you may not find referenceable information to generate a total that aligns with a current NASA budget. NASA budgets are requested and delivered to the Mission Directorates (Congress funds NASA thru program line items that are aligned to these organizations). These directorates all have leadership at NASA HQ. Most centers do work for more than one Mission Directorate (Kennedy for at least three of them; Goddard for two; Marshall for at least three, Ames two, etc). It is certainly worth the attempt but just wanted to warn you that it may not be as obvious as it would appear given the perceptions that most have of the NASA centers. Personal interest[edit]

I've noticed that you have taken an interest in my latest writings and seem to be focused on these. However, I'm in the middle of constructing an article, only a couple of hours old, and keep getting edit conflicts when I go to add material. I have every intention of adding links and so forth as I go along, so if you would, could you please wait a little bit and then sometime thereafter go ahead and make any edits you see fit. Thanks -- Gwillhickers (talk) 20:12, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Gwillhickers: Maybe add in use (with double-curly brackets) to "reserve" the page while actively editing if conflicts are a disruption (please remember to remove when the 'edit run' is finished as a signal to resume open/collaborative editing), it appears as follows:

Thanks NeutraI. Finding other sources for John Allen Lewis is proving a little difficult. If you're of a mind, you might want to do a little hunting around. It would be a great help if anyone could come up with other sources. Best, Gwillhickers (talk) 20:38, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Gwillhickers: Unfortunately, I had zero knowledge or interest in the subject matter prior to the page’s creation, just pitching in as able with syntax/grammar/punctuation/spelling, and helpful links to things like USA cities and communities. It may be wise to solicit the perspective of others who have more niche expertise in the subject. NeutraI (talk) 20:50, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My user page[edit]

It would be appreciated if you let other editors manage their own user pages. I only add an article to my 'Articles created' list when I feel they are nearly completed. Also when you added the name, the formatting was messed up. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 17:14, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Gwillhickers: Ok thanks for letting me know, it just seemed appropriate based on the context IMO, but will hold off on doing such maneuvers in the future without receiving prior approval at your user talk page first. Regards, NeutraI (talk) 17:17, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated. Just so you know, you added an endash (–) rather than a dash (-) to the mark up, which, for whatever reasons, doesn't work. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 17:22, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Gwillhickers: Didn’t notice that, good catch, that may be why the formatting was messed up. NeutraI (talk) 17:24, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
