No, I did not revert multiple times. I only reverted your edit once. You can revert again. You have the option to. Surge_Elec (talk) 11:41, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But sir, in history of that article it's looking like your frequently reverting. It just a view not to offend you. Your doing great job. Newton Euro (talk) 11:50, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of Norman Pritchard in the header[edit]

Hi, can you please provide the reason why you have added Norman Pritchard once again in the header of Neeraj Chopra? https://olympics.com/en/athletes/norman-pritchard In the official website of Olympics, it's clearly mentioned that he's a "controversial" Olympian who is claimed by both India and Britain. Besides, it's unnecessary to add the details about another Olympian in the header of Neeraj Chopra. So kindly revert it or add it in the "career : 2017-21" section of the same page. Thank you! Jai Bhavani(Hail the Goddess) (talk) 14:06, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User @Jai Bhavani(Hail the Goddess):; International Olympic committee is the premier organization of Olympics, they organise Olympics and they have all the rights about all the Olympics related decisions. According to IOC, their web Norman Pritchard is Indian athlete , his 2 Silver medals are credited to India. Indian Olympic organisations also have same thaughts.Norman Pritchard travelled by using Indian travelling documents in 1900 to Paris, today we call it visa. He was born and raised in India, studied at Kolkata. He broken many Athletics record in Bengal presidency compitions. All these claim suggest that he was Indian athlete. And International Olympic committee also have records from 1900 Olympics, which have recorded as Norman Pritchard - India - 2 Silver medals. If you don't agree with that , you can go to IOC. And don't revert without discussing on talk page. WP is global project and you can't not revert things which you don't like. WP admins can take back your editing privileges. All the edits I did , I have provided citations. You can check original sources. And write this type of questions on that artical's talk page not on my talk page.Newton Euro (talk) 14:24, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article in the official site of Olympics have clearly mentioned that both Britain and India claim him. You just can't take your whims and fancies into wp just because you think it is right. Like you have mentioned, it's a global project,so, you should also refrain from threatening users that you'll get them banned. Jai Bhavani(Hail the Goddess) (talk) 16:26, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't mention that I'll ban you, I said other admins will. And you doesn't consider International Olympic committee a reliable source and consider a line saying Great Britain also say he's his Athlete than its your problem. But IOC's official website says that Norman Pritchard India Athlete. Do little research before claiming anything. Just provide any source Where Greate Britain says, Norman Pritchard is their athlete. I think you don't like English people that's why you didn't want his name in heading section of Neeraj Chopra, But I think you don't know history of India's sports. Many Many British players represented India, Field hockey at Olympics. Norman wasn't alone. Do some research, before doing reverts. Newton Euro (talk) 16:57, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

:Javelin Day[edit]

Please read WP:CRYSTAL and calm down. He won a medal, that's all - hardly Earth shattering. - Sitush (talk) 11:02, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean by hardly earth shattering ??? You don't believe Indian newspaper's reports and AFI it's your problem. But hijack this Indian athlete article. First disscus in Neeraj Chopra talk page before reverting. We India folks believe Times of India , 150 year old newspaper. It's not some kind of future telling, they officially announced it in media.

And if this WP: CRYSTAL then what folks wrote in Awards section is rubbish, because none of this money not recived to that athlete, all are just announcements, but no report so far all these money received by this athlete or not. Then this all money announcement also come in your WP: CRYSTAL policy. Newton Euro (talk) 11:15, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Maintenance templates to Neeraj Chopra[edit]

Multiple editors have cleaned up that article even today. Please realise that you are one of the editors that keep making it worse. For example, in this edit, you wrote "jevelin" even though the correct spelling is right there in the article. And turned a "He" into "HeHe". This has nothing to do with you not being a native speaker; both errors would have been easily avoided with a little more care. And you did it again[1] after your earlier errors had been corrected and Sitush was in the middle of cleaning up the whole article. Regards! Usedtobecool ☎️ 18:57, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, He He error, was typo error, I fixed it immediately. Jevelin error is just spelling mistake not deliberately done. So, try to understand this templet I added for native speaker, only they can clean it up. I am also amature and not a native speaker. Let native speakers fix it. Newton Euro (talk) 19:02, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And AFI's announcements addition did 'cause it was in the news in Indian media, and online news webs, I also provided source but it was got chalenged so drop that . Newton Euro (talk) 19:04, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is outrageous to accuse somebody of being "racist" because of a disagreement about where in the article to mention Norman Pritchard.[2] Throwing around unfounded accusations of racism is taken seriously at Wikipedia, and you will be sanctioned if it happens again. close paraphrasing is copyright violation[edit]

In this edit, you used the same words as the NDTV reviewer with just some superficial changes. While you did open with 'reviewer said' for the first sentence, the next sentences appear as if it's your own. That kind of close paraphrasing violates copyright and might get removed. Please edit that section using your own words. Hemanthah (talk) 12:29, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You cannot use the BCCI logo on the India national cricket team article, as it's a violation of WP:NFCC. The unacceptable uses for non-free content are listed at WP:NFC#UUI, and include The logo of an entity used for identification of one of its child entities, when the child entity lacks its own branding. The specific child entity's logo remains acceptable, which is exactly what the Indian cricket team is in relation to the BCCI logo. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:56, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

baby's day out[edit]

In this edit, you added a link to a hotstar page which doesn't even belong in external links, see WP:LINKSTOAVOID. You added another to republic, a deprecated source, see WP:REPUBLICTV. Overall the edit was not constructive and I've removed it. Please engage caution in selecting sources. Hemanthah (talk) 06:41, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also the unref template addition was not called for. The previous section had the source for the remakes, as well as the linked film pages. Hemanthah (talk) 06:45, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I know Republic is unreliable source, from now I'll not add it as source. But WP didn't stop to add it as source completely like it added Daily mail. Newton Euro (talk) 11:01, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Newton Euro, Please read WP:RS closely. Just because a link exists on ToI/HT sites or software lets you add it, doesn't make it automatically acceptable for WP.
I see you've now added a lot of junk to Anushka Sharma (later reverted). Same thing at ISL - where you added a forbes blog link (unreliable, see WP:FORBESCON) twice. Do read how to use same citation again.
Also please pay attention to WP:MOS. Your edits from yesterday have basic spelling errors 1 and poor grammar 2. You've been warned enough already but still you continue disregarding basic WP style. Hemanthah (talk) 05:34, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did not know that Forbes blog is unreliable source. I will not at that as ref. About Anushka Sharma, all that I added was backing of top news website's of India, who have credibility. Times of India is 150 years old newspaper that's why I added it as source. If you saw some spelling or grammatical mistakes you can correct it yourself. I also corrected other editors spelling mistakes. We are human mistakes happen sometimes. You have to notice that I am not a expert in WP editing, learning slowly. I hope you can understand.
