Welcome!

Hello, NiftyDude, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

By the way, in reference to your comment on the Jack Abramoff talk page, please remember there is no "you people" here - unless you mean, "you, the human race", as Wikipedia is continually edited by all kinds of people from all over the world. Cheers! BD2412 T 14:18, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fred Phelps additions[edit]

In response to your question on Talk:Fred Phelps, no, you didn't do anything wrong in adding the information; in fact, it's relevant and helpful. But since the Phelps article is vandalized so often, when new content is added without documentation, other editors may suspect that it is false — which is why the hoax tag was added until references were found. Take a look at these guidelines for more on verifiability in Wikipedia. And thanks for contributing — don't let errors like these throw you off, I still make them all the time and I've been here for months. Deadsalmon 02:02, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trinity Broadcasting Network[edit]

The links that you have been adding to Trinity Broadcasting Network have nothing specifically to do with Trinity Broadcasting Network, so I and other Wikipedia editors will continue to remove them. If you want to add some links to negative website, they need to be specifically about Trinity. BlankVerse 22:18, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am proud of you son: Damn White of you[edit]

You are heaping on Vilifications to MLK's wife at the very moment of her funeral. What fine and serene Judgement and Character you must have. Go and dig up some dirt on someone who deserves that, like maybe Bill Frist or some rich White boy, like that. Huh? -- Pinktulip 19:18, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You completely miss my point. I, too mourn for the late Mrs. King. The things she was "villified" seem to me badges of honor she should wear proudly.

I think this reflects WELL upon Mrs. King.

This just speaks volumes about her detractors-- Phelps and Falwell.

I am PROUD of EVERYTHING Mrs. Kings has accomplished and I mourn with you. And I understand your anger and hurt, but it is misplaced. I meant well.

If you can find a better way to make my intentions clear without overly-biasing the Wikipedia article, then please do.

Peace.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
