Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident in which you may be involved. Thank you. -- BartlebytheScrivener (talk) 02:16, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

add /*Reception*/ section and a book review citation[edit]

Generally speaking, what you're doing is considered a conflict of interest. You can read more about Wikipedia's policy on that here. Moreover, the fact that you're adding quotes from your publication to many articles and are not adding anything else to Wikipedia could be considered spam, as its purpose appears to be purely promotional. In some cases you've added links to the WIRB as empty cites to book titles (example: [1]), which is clearly WP:BOOKSPAM. Personally, I'd have to add that many of the quotes you've contributed seem to add very little, if any, to the articles in terms of understanding of the authors' works. Many come across as gushing book jacket blurbs or meaningless strings of words. But the real problem is the COI and spamming. --BartlebytheScrivener (talk) 23:01, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
