Choosing Articles to Work on Assignment[edit]

The following articles are my choices for possible projects.

Frogger

A decent one to work with. It's strange that this hasn't gotten up to a GA status since it is a historically important game...but we can see why perhaps in looking at the article. Some of the info here is a bit strange or needs to be integrated into a wikipedia style. I think you could work with the citations already in place to do this. The organization doesn't seem to match normal video game articles either. I'll leave it up to you whether you want to take it on. Etherfire (talk) 17:05, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of races and species in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

This one is a great one but it might be a lot of work. You'd have to rework almost all the text from the non-fictional viewpoint. You also have the problem of organizing this appropriately in a format that retains it as a list but looks like a wikipedia article. Etherfire (talk) 17:05, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Apple pie

There are some risks in approaching this article. Some of the sections lack any references at all. The history of the article is somewhat strange. It is a very old article that hasn't seemed to change in years despite a huge conversation around it over a decade ago (you might want to note the archived talk page...goes back to 2004. The question is: why hasn't it ever really gotten better? I'd guess because no one has forced the article into the format that makes sense for it. Compare to other articles of the same sort, e.g. cheddar cheese or eggnog and you see that there is just no one slotting it into the kind of formatting that prompts readers to add stuff. So if you want to take it on you could.
