Messages re: Editing

Wikishovel: I would like to take you up on your offer of help on the Pirates 4-D article. I have done a first pass revision, and dropped it onto the talk page. While I certainly agree with you that the article needs more references (I think I have more than tripled those), it also badly needs to be better written, clearer, and more encyclopedic. If my proposed changes represent an improvement, then I will continue working on it. I intend to take a deeper dive on the references, and I have already found some pictures and graphics which I will add going forward. Oddjob84 (talk) 15:13, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Mirrors

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Pirates 4-D ‎. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. User:Kuru, since your first revision, a new, non-circular reference was substituted for the original reference (which was, indeed, circular). You have now deleted the new reference, which I just undid. If the World Heritage Encyclopedia is a mirror of Wikipedia, I sure can't find any evidence of it. Please provide some evidence of this.
