How to:[edit]

How do I document something that comes from a personal communication from someone who was there? {{helpme}} I have attempted to add things to the Cadets (drum corps) page and the information came from two gentlemen who marched with this corps in 1958. Hi, unfortunately you can't really. Wikipedia relies on reliable sources for articles. You would have to find independent and fact-checked documentation of what was said to you privately. //roux   19:32, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks much. I figured so. The two gentlemen who relayed this information may not know each other (although very well DO know each other) and the information corrects the Cadets' historical information. In all liklihood, any written source material will NOT confirm what I wrote except that the verbal communication conforms to announcements made before a corps show in late 1959. They had the cadets style uniform in late 1959 although the Cadets history states they changed uniforms in 1960. Oldsopplaya (talk) 02:30, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
