Inteligencia Argentina[edit]

Si6 question[edit]

Thanks a lot for editing the page. Why did you say "(mainly because of workers' overpopulation)"?. I think you mean that January 2004 was too late, and that it was`t opened before because of citefa`s overpopulation. That is not exactly true. CITEFA needs more workers, but the goverment is not willing to pay that jobs. Normally it would't open at all, but i think thanks to the effort of a LOT of people, we came through burocracy, and finally open the lab on January 2004. For us, it was not late. And why are we talking in english?, i speak spanish like you! Cheers. eldraco 13:02, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contracyberterrorismo[edit]

--San Marcos 03:46, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Normally, I would mark it as copyvio, but the image looks like it could have been created just around the public domain expiration. Ahora, I would contact the website creator myself, pero yo no hablo español - or at least not words like "copyright" and "image source." Can you please translate one of the letters at WP:BRP and contact the owner of the website [[2]]? Then please leave me a note on my talk page with the results? I have reassessed William Brown (admiral) as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force. We are currently revisiting all listed Good articles in an effort to ensure that they continue to meet the Good article criteria.

In reviewing the article, I came across some issues that may need to be addressed; I have left a detailed summary on the article's talk page. As a result I have put William Brown (admiral)'s GA status on hold. This will remain in place for a week or so before a final decision is taken as to the article's status.

I've left this message because, from the article talk page and history, you've been fairly recently involved with improving it. If you no longer edit this article, please accept my apologies - it's got a fairly complicated editing history, but I don't like to do this without trying to notify potentially interested editors ;)

Wikimedia Stories Project[edit]

Aloha!

My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share.

I find stories that drive our annual fundraising efforts. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.

I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.

I will be in Buenos Aires from the 10th - 11th of March 2012.

I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project!

Thank you,

Matilde Vernet[edit]

Hi! Can you give me all sources of Malvina? I want to expand the article in Spanish. I want to be extensive and quality. You can help. Thank you for defending the article. The British were upset because she is Argentina and was born there. The British historiography of the islands hidden it. Vernet treated as a single trader and not an Argentine governor. Antonio Rivero is treated just like a criminal. David Jewett took possession of the islands to Argentina in 1820, but the British consider a privateer he acted alone. And there are many stories. Note that here only British sources are used. In Wikipedia in Spanish I try to use all sources (British and Argentinean). Hello "One"! What if we talk by mail? Or Spanish Wikipedia? Around here there are "observers". It seems that control me. What you explained the arguments and the lack of neutrality here, I know. The documents are from books, Biblioteca Nacional and Archivo General de la Nación. In Buenos Aires there are many. A few lithographs were criticized, although they are of a site with Darwin's diary. I was in Ushuaia five days and now I'm uploading photos. Regards! --Gastón Cuello (talk) 18:28, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. According to the talk page guidelines, talk page comments should be addressed in English on the English Wikipedia - no matter who you're speaking to - in order that they can be understood by the community as a whole. Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:47, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
