Vikos-Aoos National Park[edit]

Happened to have any pictures of the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi? I'm going to expand the article in near future.Alexikoua (talk) 22:34, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, I've not had the chance to go there. I hope I will, but not this year. - Onno Zweers (talk) 06:51, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I do have photos of two monasteries on the banks of the Voidomatis, downstream from the gorge: Panagia Spiliotissa and the abandoned Agioi Anargyri (I'm not sure about the spelling, I took the names from a map some years ago). They're nice panorama's but nothing spectacular. And I have the old stone bridge at Klidonia. And I almost forgot: I have taken photos inside Stomio, the most famous monastery in the Aoos gorge. Ah, if only that upload procedure was a bit faster...
Since I have those photos on Flickr anyway, why don't you have a look there to see which photos are usable? This set has many good photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/onnozweers/sets/72157622209928264/ but please feel free to look in other sets as well. - Onno Zweers (talk) 07:58, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We wanted to let you know that we've used one of your pictures in a project of ours: http://litpics.tumblr.com/post/20248589393/lit-gilbertus-anglicus-by-henry-ebenezer

We created a computer program to generate random pairings of sentences from public domain texts and public domain / creative commons images. Some of the pictures we've selected come from the Wikipedia Commons. All the pictures we select ourselves, but the pairings and the text are random. Of these pairings that are generated, we only post the most interesting combinations.

We welcome any feedback about our site.

Thanks for sharing your pictures,
Samantha and Patrick
