June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of police-related slang terms ‎ have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Meters (talk) 22:59, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I amended them thanyour for telling me BTW it apears you have a different account on fandom this is known as a sockpuppet over there and is generally not allowed you should check if this is ok. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Owen1984 (talkcontribs) 23:29, June 22, 2020 (UTC)

I took your "hi vis" as the typical vandalism where an editor is sending comments to a friend by editing an article. Rereading it, I see that you were instead probably trying to add "high-visibility" to the description.
I have no idea what you are on about wrt to any fandom accounts. If you are calling me a sockpuppet in Wikipedia that is a personal attack. If you are calling me a sockpuppet on a fandom you are simply wrong. Any users on any fandom sites using the name "Meters" or anything similar are not me. And even if one person were using the same username on Wikipedia and some other site, it would not make it sockpuppetry. There are indeed users who chose to use the same username on multiple platforms. Meters (talk) 23:42, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I will explain i was referring to Vietnamese Traffic unit wearing yellow vests being called Pikachu referring to hi-vis vests Hi-vis is not vandalism it stands for high visibility.--Owen1984 (talk) 00:11, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
