Can you restore the Camp Gilboa Listing, or shall I build a new one?

Please let me know if the original Camp Gilboa listing can be re-activated for me to edit, or if I should create a new listing.

You deleted the Camp Gilboa listing on Sept. 9, 2014 because: (A7: Article about a company, corporation or organization, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject)

For the following reasons, Camp Gilboa is important/significant:

Camp Gilboa is one of six Habonim Dror North America (HDNA) camps. Three of the other six HDNA Camp Galil, Camp Gesher, and Camp Tavor have Wikipedia pages, I would like to create or (if possible) improve upon the previous Camp Gilboa listing.

Below is a partial listing of the media coverage Habonim Dror and Camp Gilboa have received in just the past few years.

Camp Gilboa and Habonim Dror North America have achieved increasing attention in the world of Jewish camps, Jewish youth groups, Zionist youth movements, progressive Judaism. For example: "The seven Habonim Dror camps, spread across North America, are pioneering a new gender-neutral form of Hebrew this summer. They hope to set an example that Hebrew-speakers worldwide might someday follow." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2016/08/11/what-does-a-gender-neutral-kid-call-themself-in-a-gendered-language/?utm_term=.57efbf381a7b

“The Habonim experience informs many of the things I’ve done in my life, whether it was to get involved in the struggle for Soviet Jewry when I was in high school and college, or whether it’s the kind of issues I take on as a public official,” said L.A. County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, who attended Habonim for eight years, from the age of 10 through high school, mostly at Camp Gilboa in Southern California. http://jewishjournal.com/culture/religion/126306/

"Habonim Dror Cultivates a Sophisticated Take on Jewish Identity" https://www.thedailybeast.com/habonim-dror-cultivates-a-sophisticated-take-on-jewish-identity

"Being upfront about Israeli faults and Palestinian perspectives is better for young Jews and for Israel in the long run, said Dalit Shlapobersky, the director of another Habonim Dror camp, Gilboa, in California. "In 1982, Gilboa closed down due to years of declining enrollment. But in 1995, alumni raised money and reopened the camp, purchasing the current site near Big Bear in 2011. In recent years, enrollment has increased, with around 200 campers each summer." https://www.jweekly.com/2016/01/15/hike-swim-fix-the-world-kids-mix-it-up-at-gilboa-camp/

Building Progressive Zionist Activists: Exploring the Impact of Habonim Dror, authored by Prof. Steven M. Cohen and Steven Fink describes evidence of the life-long impact that the Habonim Dror youth movement has had on its participants. The report draws upon a survey of nearly 2,000 alumni of Habonim Dror camps and other programs, ages 20 to 83. Dr. Cohen sums up the study findings. "The Habonim Dror experience often seems to exert a powerful impact upon identification with Israel long after the alumni have completed their active involvement in the movement..." http://www.hdcamps.org/

UPDATE: Hi, it's been 3 months and I haven't heard a response, so I'm going to go ahead and create a new page. I will be sure to indicate the significance of the subject in the new page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tysonsahib (talkcontribs) 04:32, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

Request re deleted page..

I'm working on creating a page for NZ writer Ashleigh Young, but it seems that you may have have deleted a previous page in December 2016. I feel the new page will have different content as she has won several important awards since then, so I can create a new page unless you want to re-activate the old one. It seems that you may no longer be on Wikipedia so if I don't hear back from you, I'll create a new page and make sure her significance is made clear. Thank you, --Pippipip (talk) 01:25, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
