I see that someone re-wrote this article. Do you agree with their edits? -- Ssilvers 18:21, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't know what to do about this guy. He adds a lot of new articles to Wikipedia, but he deletes the plot summaries and info boxes out of articles. He won't yield to the consensus of editors. Any advice? -- Ssilvers 20:03, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Considering your interest in the length of plots in film articles,, you might be interested in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Deaths in Scream. The JPStalk to me 12:41, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Kiarostami assessment

I am going to nominate Abbas Kiarostami for GA/FA soon. It is now under peer review. It would be nice if you could take a look at it, comment on it and assess it. Thanks and have a nice day. Sangak 16:25, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Helping out with the Unassessed Wikipedia Biographies

Seeing that you are an active member of the WikiBiography Project, I was wondering if you would help lend a hand in helping us clear out the amount of [unassessed articles] tagged with {{WPBiography}}. Many of them are of stub and start class, but a few are of B or A caliber. Getting a simple assessment rating can help us start moving many of these biographies to a higher quality article. Thank you! --Ozgod 21:47, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Cinema Collab

Thanks for that! I was looking over your edits and was like "why the hell did he do it a day early?!" and then I saw your edit summary and was like "oh shoot"! Thanks. :) Cbrown1023 talk 23:45, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

The WikiProject Films Award
I, Cbrown1023 talk, hereby award PhantomS the WikiProject Films Award for his/her valued contibutions to the Films WikiProject. You caught two of my blunders: the Collaboration error and a spelling error! :) It shows you are awake!

You could fill in the year of 1933 with this article. Morenooso 06:01, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

PS - Look in Warren G. Harding's trivia. Supposedly, he was the first prez to speak on radio. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Morenooso (talkcontribs) 06:35, 28 February 2007 (UTC).
You could tag almost every prez for the project but the most famous in recent memory, because it was probably the last time a president used it to address someone/something, was when Richard Nixon when he spoke to the astronauts on July 20, 1969 on the first moonwalk. Morenooso 06:58, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Roaring Twenties has a few radio tidbit dates. Article looks like it needs cleanup because one of the golden film links is red. I have it on my Watchlist and it took some hits this morning. I have to run. Morenooso 15:49, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I am improving the The Maltese Falcon (1941 film). It will need copy editing par tof which I have done but it is looking better. Great film! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 12:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC).

I need now to compile as many sources a spossible to write this into a great article -I plan on intergratig much of the trivia into a cultural impact section and then referencing everything. Abbas Kiarostami which I worked on succeeded so why can't this eventually. All the info is there to really make this good ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 15:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

THanks I'm sorting out (goofs and film errors) at present I've organize dthem into sub headings contnuity errors, histrocial visual /audio etc . I am probably only about half done given the welath of info I can use. I hope every likes it. Soon it will be written professionally and structured. Abbas Kiarostami is now a feature in three weeks from a start so there is no reason why we can't make this at least a GA. Referencing will be done in full ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 18:57, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Is the section on the falcon ok I found a terrific exhibition image for commentary. What do you think so far? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 19:59, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Do you see those updates right away on the project page? If so, how? I have been busy this week but will be back with the project by Tuesday at the latest. Cheers, Ronbo76 16:52, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

OSC

I see you are updating all the judge infoboxes. That's great, but you need to re-do the template then to include an appointed part, as OSC judges are simply appointed if there is a vacancy, no nomination. I would think some other states are similar. Otherwise the new infobox is mis-representing the content in the article and would lead to confussion. Thanks. Aboutmovies 05:00, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, only one infobox will make it easier in the future. Aboutmovies 05:07, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Judge infobox

The Template Barnstar
I, Wooyi, hereby award PhantomS the Template Barnstar for your creation of {{Infobox Judge}} and putting it up in Supreme Court justice articles.

Thank you for all the work! Wooyi 23:18, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Question

Why the "religion" row on the judge infobox was eliminated? just asking, because other political infoboxen do have "religion" on it. Wooyi 02:03, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Alright I see. And also I agree with you that "profession" is redundant, since all judges are either judges in the beginning or attorneys. Wooyi 02:10, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Also I'd like to ask about the judges on circuit courts that are or have been chief judges, chief judges are automatically succeeded by next qualified circuit judge, not nominated or appointed, and a judge might serve as a chief judge in middle of his tenure. So is it better to treat "judge of Xth Circuit" and "Chief Judge of Xth circuit" as two separate offices (like I did in Richard Posner and Edith Jones, or integrate them as one office (like I did in Elbert Tuttle)? Wooyi 02:37, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
In federal district courts and circuit courts I believe they are called judges. But in most state supreme courts they are called justices. I separated the chief and non-chief offices of Elbert Tuttle with chief first, which seems working well. The problem with Richard Posner is that he used to serve as chief in middle of his tenure and currently he is serving as a circuit judge, putting the chief first in the infobox might give the wrong impression that he is no longer around. I don't know how to solve it as of now. Wooyi 03:19, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Template talk

Hi PhantomS! Your opinion would be very appreciated in Template talk:Film. Hoverfish Talk 09:10, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

As you've done this before, and I'm really leery of screwing it up (I'm not sure if a standard cut & past to archive 10 will be compatible with the index - or even how to put it in the index), would you mind either letting me know the proper way to index that page (preferred, so I don't have to bother you again!), or see to it yourself. Thanks much. SkierRMH 00:16, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

A bit confused

Hi, I found that the instructions for the Film infobox have been changed, and some changes do not quite go as per our last discussions (at least about release year to be given and linking year to year-in-film). I tried to find the edit history but I got lost. Could you tell me where to look to find who edited what in the instructions? Hoverfish Talk 18:16, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
