US Open Day 5 (30 August)[edit]

Please be more careful with the changes in the format. You screwed up the format on winner, loser and score. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kleyw (talkcontribs) 14:31, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Kenya.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kenya.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:08, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox stats[edit]

Hi there, we only include domestic league statistics in the onfobox for footballers - so I have removed your cup stats addition to James Ward-Prowse. This is because of the near-impossibility of sourcing cup stats for early players. Thanks, GiantSnowman 16:07, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013 US Open (tennis), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Donald Young and Li Na (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Statistics update[edit]

Hi. I just saw you added stats such as top scorer at 2013–14 Premier League, that you later reverted, which is very good. Thank you. We should no add live updates. Please also note that when making the updates after the match they should also be sourced. For example if the source for the table says 22 goals on Suarez we really should not change it until the sources change. Just a note to not edit this sections to soon without source (for example there could be a discussion who really scored so waiting for source is the way to go). Southampton update[edit]

Hi, I have some things i would like to mention according to your recent edit.

  1. First of all the {{goal}}-template is working for multiple goals so instead of writing {{goal|45}} {{goal|89}} you should write {{goal|45||89}}, please read the template documentation and see previuos edits hw it is done.
  2. Secondly you must update all of the timestamps when updating so when updating "results by matchday" update date to 29 March and do not leave it at older date when adding info after that. Also make sure that the info you add are according to the source.
  3. Thirdly you should make sure to use the correct dashed line in the result/score (– and not -). The crrect dash is seen below the editbox next to "insert" (first on the left) or otherwise it is best to copy an old score and just change the numbers. Disambiguation link notification for January 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014–15 Southampton F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chicago Fire. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
