Notre Dame template[edit]

Hello, and nice work on the template. I removed Jacques-Germain Soufflot because nothing on his page mentioned Notre Dame. You seem on top of the topic (along with the hunchback and gargoyles) so you probably have it right, just needs a few words and maybe a cite on the Soufflot page. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:27, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Randy Kryn! Good job checking up on my work! Soufflot was chief architect of NDP for 20 years, but his English-language article doesn't have anything about it and his influence may have been minimal. I support your decision to remove him from the template for now. My intention was to include architects responsible for the 18th century renovations, but in my haste I probably confused Soufflot with Robert de Cotte. Hopefully I or someone else will be able to revisit this in the future. Pigby2 (talk) 11:36, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
